TT #41: Nurb GP/D & Eiger G Trail Reverse

If they had, they would have done it for the GT Academy

YES !!!

I could tell such a story about it during this GTacademy!
FYI, I missed a top 10 because of double counting but it is forgotten now.

I hoped that one day Podyphony will be able to invalidate the times made with multiple accounts and that before the 250th.

And congratulations on your lap now.

I switched to my G27 for Nurburgring GP/D and combined Usual Suspects suspension and gearing with The Salamandas LSD and Brake Balance settings and within 4 laps I knocked 3 tenths off my previous best to a 1:30.579! :D

:lol::lol::lol:

Good luck man !

Never said I would or could beat them. Maybe someday. Look, I could care less if people run on multiple accounts and who are you to tell people they can't. I have 5 accounts, not 100. I run on two of them and you, or anyone else besides Sony/PD, is gonna make me change. I really fail to see the issue here as people are still going to try for the top spot regardless if there are 5 yinato's or 1. You still gotta beat the time. With all due respect to you, I srongly disagree with your complaint.

meh, ive given up
im awful tuner, cant get my car do do over 108/09 on the hill and in constant changing of my set i kinda lost my settings which i did .2 with, so i cant come close to it anymore
i tried everything, no ballast, full ballast, no power limit, with pl and i just cant get the bloody car to climb faster (pj told me #1 guy is doing 112, id have done 7.6 at least with that speed...).

Lancia Delta Integrale from the Premium dealership works a treat on the Eiger. Remember it's a homologated rally car.

The Lambo Superveloce with full aero and some intake and exhaust work to bring it up to PP600 will easily gold the Nurb.

The Lancia got gold for me but seemed a little heavier and clunky compared to the Peaugeot 205 tturbo which ran gold laps from the start, you can spin out 360 deg without going off track and getting a red number and it seemed to carry more speed up the hill. 205 with 45 kg on the front axle is the one.

Also that 80kph drag up the hill is video gaming at its ..... (fill in the blank)

You understand that I think about those fighting for a Top 50 or Top 20 or Top 10 for example!

Read Private' post too !

Apparently it would not be a problem for you to finish 11th instead of a Top 10 because of double counting!
But for some it is a problem regardless of the purpose of classification.

Last thing: why you quote me Yinato every post ....?

Your complaint is just silly, rediculous, and childish

and after :
With all due respect to you

I prefer the second post of you !

Time for first TT discussion
(Almost 100 post without any in this thread, great  )

I was once wondering should I make my 4 account's on DT TOP20 but nah it isn't worth of it..I doesn't give for me double good feeling about it.
One is enought for me 👍

Private thank you, you at least you're honest to say.👍
And you fill my message subtly.:)

I am starting to say that double counting should be banned out of respect to the TOP 250 for those who strive to be in it but also those who fight for the top 100, top 50...

I've been there gentlemen!

And I would take the answer of KB18FAN on account of his disability or the fact that he has a hundred accounts!

i agree
it isnt fair for someone who works hard to enter top 10 to have to fight 2 amos, 2 yinatos etc.
kb18's opinion shouldnt be considered since he isnt exactly a top 10 driver (or even top 250 to be precise).
just my pov

yes, when kb wants to make another account he can easily make it
why?
competing for the top of the friends' leaderboards yo'

Thank you Frank!

By cons are absolutely certain that there are no two Amaury!

Amaury is a friend of my forum and it does not need to use 2 different account to realize its time!
Unless you meant Amo PIRLA87?

It was the work of a sick man and jealous of Amo who created this account to offend but to no avail !

This is also another reason that Pody works in the future on the Prohibition of double counting!

yes im aware that amo never did use 2 accounts but i just said as an example
ps i know he had AMO-RACING_TEAM, GTPL_Amo and Amo_Racing87.

That.thing.is.a.boat. Maybe it's my driving style or maybe I copied a setting wrong, but it's understeering like nothing I have ever seen before. Mind you, I've broken my previous time with about 3 seconds using your tune, so good work anyways :).

Good evening to all my friends,

First, muito obrigado to GTP_usualsuspect, your setup is very effective, I still have almost half a second margin! You can count on my help in the future, força PORTUGAL amigo! 👍

Now I'd like to talk about your debate as well as Sheepjulius, the doggie Amo_racing87.

His claim seems to me legitimate and is entirely understandable, what hurts me is that she lacks good faith using an excuse that is not good if you Manujulius voiced this complaint, it is not the aim of all but only his own...

Before claiming anything, it might be just starting to bring something, I too would like to change some things, such as a player avoids Amo_racing87 cutting sections, or even to be all 4 wheels off track such as the Toscana recently, there has to compare our re-runs on the new Eiffel.

I will also like you Manujulius, little doggie Amo_racing87, stop taking people for fools by trying to pass Amo_racing87 for what he is not, do it on your forum, but not here, people are another level as the forum GT5.net.

Amo_racing87 is a great player but in no case is an example of conduct, as by the fact that he never shares its configuration as it does not respect the limits of the track, all in order to be sure completed first.

I'll repeat Manujulius, but over 40 years you have, it is time to stop the pranks and show a little more maturity.

Come here to bring something and not for the sole purpose of claim, if not all stay on your forum.

Thank you.

FYI. I regularly finish on the leaderboards, not a problem doing that. My average finish is anywhere between 50th to 150th. And to the all knowing Mr Fox, I do not run on 2 accounts so I can be at the top of my friends list as I have alot of top drivers on my GTP account. I run on that account when people ask me to share cars on my main so I can borrow my own car without taking off share everytime I want to use it. Hope this clears things up for you. Lastly, the only time I would have a problem with multiple accounts is if it was an official competition, like the Academy. These are only friendly TT competitions. Nothing is at stake here besides personal pride.

Just lost THE lap. :(
0.986 up on my 2'09.043 ghost at the hill, choked like mad - hit the wall at the Eau Rouge-look alike, hit the wall again a corner later and got red time.
Red time with wall hits (which cost me loads of time): 2'08.12x
Now that was a fml moment...

OK, I'll buy into the multiple accounts argument/discussion.
In my opinion it is unfair.
Lets say that 'UsualSuspect' ran 5 accounts (and I have no idea whether he has more than one or not but I hope he only has one) , it is very likely he would occupy 5 places in the first 10 spots on the board.
I know myself I can consistently drive at similar times over and over, mind you I am usually 3 or 4 seconds off the pace, so getting a first 10 or 20 or even 100 spot is beyond me, however I can fully understand that those who are capable of reaching those lofty heights would be upset if someone who was just slightly better was taking up a spot which should rightly be theirs.
And I base my argument on the fact that in real life racing, a driver does not get the opportunity to fill more than one place in the results. Same should apply here.
And finally, as KB18FAN states; "Nothing is at stake here besides personal pride."
But isn't that what this is all about?

Nice tune usual suspect, it's helping me a lot. I got a question, does car still break in when borrowed by a friend and does it have to be driven in your account?

Multiple accounts is only acceptable if you suffer from bipolar disorder. If symptoms persist, please see your doctor

Usual Suspect
:dopey:

I´m always here :sly:

My tune, and with the right hands it can go 3/4 tenths faster

To get the gears, change the rims at Gt Auto and then:
Final far right.
Top speed far left.
And then adjust.

Incredible tune! I go 2 secods donw. I am in 1 31 938 now.
Thanks!!!!

I smell a lot of sour grapes from some people and think they need to up their meds or something. Like KB and a couple others have already said, you want a spot at the top of the leader boards up your game! Doesn't matter how many accounts someone has, if their best time is X then you need to beat X. If you can beat their fastest then it doesn't matter how many accounts they have and use. Also considering how competitive a lot of the people at the top of the leader boards are I'm guessing its unlikely they are using or would want to use multiple accounts to post scores with. When your making hundreds if not thousands of runs to try and shave off that extra fraction of a second or gain a couple extra points in drifting, bouncing around between different accounts will just hurt your efforts.
Now I'm not a top driver and never will be, but I'm sure not going to whine that I finished 5,001st in a TT instead of 5,000th or even 4,900th because people used multiple accounts.
To be honest its only when a TT or DT catches both my fancy and some of the people on my friends list fancy that I pay much attention to rankings and then its to see how I'm faring against them and not the rest of the world.
Again if you have a burning desire to be seen as a top contender on the leader boards for your country or the world then you'll need to put in the hours of driving and fine tuning setups needed to up your game and post those alien laps/scores. Otherwise just enjoy the 🤬 game and quit 🤬 whining about how unfair it is that he has multiple accounts or she used active steering or that your on a DS3 instead of a wheel. More time driving and less time crying will help improve your rankings guaranteed and be a lot less annoying to the rest of us.

WOW! That worked for me, thanks UsualSuspect. My best yesterday was #800 something which became well over #1,000 when I started today.
With your tune I am now #485......1:32.239.
I would add that I began slowing down into and around the corners rather than sliding around them as I usually do. As I am using the directional buttons
though I find it is hard to control the accelerator (always had this problem even with GT1) so tried the lowest TC.
Worked a treat. Again, thanks for the tune.

Like you XDesperado67 I will never occupy any of the the 1st 10, 20 or 100 places in a TT here, so sour grapes does not come into my argument.
However when someone who can occupy those positions does so and then uses another account to prevent others from gaining a higher spot on the leader board, I see that as paramount to cheating. Of course it's not cheating as it is not illegal to do so, but in my mind it is very poor sportsmanship.
Again, it can't be done in real racing so why should it be allowed here?
