You have been good recently mate, big improvement in performance :)

Keep going the way you have been and there should be nothing to worry about at all.

You were at the back for Monaco, a tight circuit, and you made your way through the pack incident free. 👍

Id love to get in on this
Name: Torzilla
PSN: Torzilla
Country: USA

No problem mate, I will add you to the driver list and on psn.

Welcome to the group ;)

Quick question, we are debating using heavy damage on the easier tracks and I would like your thoughts on this Torzilla.

Im totally down with running heavy damage, I feel that heavy damage is the best thing to promote clean racing.

Cheers for getting back to us :)

We are most likely going to run with heavy damage on some of the tracks, the shorter/easier ones.

This way these races will be more exciting and there is no risk of a driver being crashed into and having to spend the next 7 minutes completing a lap before being able to pit.

Monza,Fuji & Suzuka are on the full damage shortlist, any other suggestions are welcome ;)

Just to say though, from joining barn in the 500pp lobbies there was always someone in the first lap or usually 2 who's races were already ruined

I'll be breif and quick here.
If this new series is not set at heavy damage for the entire season, (no matter how long or short the tracks are) i'm out.

I'm looking for at least an hour of racing with full damage.
Anything less just won't hold my attention.

One of the series im in has full damage..We've had 3 pre. season races and in the last race we had 2 people escaped damage on the first lap...So the Series director has decided to scrap full damage since majority werent responsible for their car damage...

None of us are pro's, we are virtual gamers...visibilty of other cars and hearing the sounds of other cars is limited...I suggest having full damage on the first race to see how it goes...

60% of me goes for no damage
40% of me goes for damage set to heavy...

This is my view on things...

One thing to ask you actually jonzster,

To get the replays to the steward I just uploaded file to megaupload, they download and play on their ps.

As far as I know EU replays will not work on a US console and I'm not sure how many stewards in our region there are.

Worst case scenario would you stick a video on youtube of the incident for review?

If not I understand mate and it might not even come to that but just as a safety net would you do that if needed?

I can do that Steg, no problem :)

Someone wasent being as incident free as me were they.. *eyes champ* ;)
Holds hands up...... they were only love taps though :D I'm with Barn on that circuit (Monaco), it's also quite frustratingly difficult to pass when the guy in front is equally as fast ;)

What can be done is...Do we have any american drivers racing with us? If so he/she/ can upload the replay onto megaupload and the american stewards in ORB can download to their PS3...So instead of you uploading, the american driver will upload....Do you get it?

Replays Thanks jonzster. Kk I don't know why I never thought of that as there will be a few of our US brothers racing with us :)

Damage Cheers for all the feedback lads, damage will not be on heavy for the whole season Barn. If that means we lose you mate I'm sorry :(

R35, I didn't mean no risk of incidents, just no risk of having to do a 5-7 minute lap before you can pit ;)

I like the challenge of Monaco, it is hard to pass but the fact it's possible is enough for me :)

Looks like a good gig Steg.

If i find time on a wednesday as always busy with mine,
il join up.

Personally from me damage should be light so that your penalised for making errors (whether racing or your own) but not heavily penalised if for say someone spins out and swings back across the track and you hit them..Iknow people will say well its your own fault for not reacting but when surrounded by other gamers and factors only professional race drivers minds can react to a situation that quick

Thanks Culkin, good to get your input.

I am still scratching my head over this , still need to hear from a couple more people then I will come to a final decision ;)

Good post kk

If we have the time, maybe try it out in some pre season races. See how it goes. If it doesn't turn out well then go with light damage.
