Cheers for the directions guys 👍 - with Famine mentioning the chain of roundabouts i think i remember taking that road before when heading to Norfolk.

You certainly will have done. If you went on the A47 when you got to Peterborough you missed an even better road - the A1122 near Downham Market. Awesomeness...

Last time I did the A57 between A1 and M1 it took me 12 minutes and I leathered a guy in a C320 (who understeered right into my lane - luckily I was well ahead of him at the time).

Got my stuff ready and am raring to go, despite a desperate lack of practice, so I'm getting my excuses in early....

First challenge of the weekend is going to be getting up early enough on a Saturday morning to make the 7.55 at King's X..., so no pub for me tonight! (ok, maybe half a shandy...)

If your worried about getting up you could adopt the technique we used on my stag do last week in Bratislava - simply dont sleep! Works quite well in conjunction with ridiculous amounts of alchohol. Cant guarantee how good you will feel a few days later though

As many extension cables as I can lay my hands on (although don't hold your breath)
and no copies of Tourist Trophy, because it's been delayed again, until 2nd June.

vexd and Dave George, I have your phone numbers in my phone as I may have to call you to suggest my arrival time - distance + traffic conditions + my wonderful sense of direction* may conspire against me, so I'll let you know. I'll be leaving about 7ish and it's 165 miles, so who knows what time I'll get there

*I got lost in my own bedroom once. Seriously.

I can bring
1x GT4
1x PS2 (if required, I'm nervous of moving her - she's never broken down once yet, in almost 4 years!)
1x Official DS2. I'm a little partial to my controller, I will only use my own because I'm 'familiar' with it
2x Unofficial Controllers - I've got a couple of third-party pads around, at least one of which works well So I can bring those if needed.
But none of my memory cards are blank, sorry about that one.

I'll let you all know about my chances of attending 👍
