You are all wrong...

...in reality, PD were secretly making a deal with Lotus while everybody was speculating....

And we gonna get everything...the new cars, all the old ones and the test track

We can dream.

I work a stone's throw from the test track. Can hear them testing cars during the week, always sounds like they're having a lot of fun. Especially Friday just gone, it started raining very heavily and within minutes could hear them hitting the track, clearly waiting for some wet weather running.

I think you misunderstood me, I'm not talking about any event. Adding Spa 24h layout as "new stuff" is utterly ridiculous and that's what I'm talking about. They promised new layouts, but instead we got a different pitlane. Is this what you call a content? And this new update is no different with car additions.

Most of the kms were done in Le Mans and Tokyo, since I was trying to avoid Kazu's stupid microtransaction thing, rest is in the Sport mode/custom lobbys so I don't really care about sp events except endurance races because AI and structure of the AI races are not in good condition either. Maybe that will change with Sophy but that's not the case for now.
So 15.000 km doing the same stuff over and over again, impressive in another way i guess. Yes the Ai doesn't compare to real players, the event in itself is still a fun challenge unless you go for a max/min car setup and just approach it as a longer version of Tokyo.

People are forgetting that the different pit lane also brought full 24h dynamic time support that wasn't available in the original layout.

I have a guess on the unknown car, could it be the Toyota 2000GT convertible model? The targa looking part may as well be a customisation option? In GTS the classic Mini and the 356 had roll cages that were removed in GT7 so that led me to believe that it could be a removable custom part.

I don't think the missing car is a real model, proportions are too extreme. The bonnet and deck seem way too long, the windshield too low and the body seem quite muscular and low. If by any chance it is an actual road car I'd say it's a Ferrari 812 GTS. But it makes no sense, why would you add the spider version instead of the coupé.

I'd say it's yet another unremarkable VGT or worse still...a spider version of an existing unremarkable VGT. The BMW link could be possible. Proportions and idea, albeit longer, remind me of the BMW Gina concept or 507.

Or, as this is Gran Clownismo, it might be Kaz trolling and the mystery car be a 2008 California pulled straight from GT5 Prologue

Sorry. 2nd guess on 1 page. Maybe something like the Radical, X-Bow, Mono.

It's so close lol.

But what a strange car to add when there are so many others. I've never even heard of this thing.

I think im gonna ditch this game for a couple months maybe until the end of the year. I was expecting larger car drops, I feel like GT sport was getting more cars per drop but I cant remember. Hopefully there will be a lot more content coming over this year. I've not been happy with this game so far.
Yeah kinda a no-man's land at the min for racing games, still waiting for the new ACC update for PS5 (with the BMW GT3 etc) . Shouldn't complain though, still awesome we have a solid build of ACC on consoles at all. As for GT7, I sincerely hope PD is getting a finger out for more meaningful updates and these 3 car update things are just "whet the appetite" type affairs.

Also, someone said this in another post, but it would be so much cooler if they added some new road cars that had the ABILITY to be homologated to racecars and then became a new Gr. class. For example, adding 1990s Volvo V70, Renault Laguna and Nissan Primera....which could be converted into BTCC touring cars. Pretty sure people would love that kind of thing in the daily races, relive the old TOCA games etc.

It's really frustrating because (and I know not everyone agrees on this) they have a really nice driving model and overall feel to this game, but they're not optimising it at all so far.

Its a bit dissapointing with just 3 cars again, but at least better choises this time, but it might take more time now as the cars have customize options now, gts didin’t have any of that other than liveries or wheels, i can imagine it takes a big longer to add the customize options, but yes 3 cars a month will be too little in the long run, but if they add a good amount of events and cafe books, the 3 cars is fine,
We also need a fix for roulette tickets, not just that they are rigged, but it takes to long to farm roulettes, 1 per day is not enough should be more ways to earn them, considering all the exclusive engine parts and engine swaps, i am still pretty happy for 3 cars if not the bottom left turns out to be another c3 corvette, the camaro will for sure be a bit exciting for me to take out for a spin next week, hope its arrive on in middle if week

I think it will raise to 6-12 cars in the next updates, we are just at the beggining. Doesn't mean we always get 3 cars per month, could increase a lot very likely especially with bigger patches in next months

But nothing on the track really changed, meaning the full 24h dynamic time could've been on the original from the beginning, and should be on it now. It's the same place. The stars don't have a different alignment or whatever. The same time and weather will work on both.

Either Polyphony held this back just to say they added something in April and are still locking the time cycle to that one layout for no reason, or they simply released the game with the track unfinished... and are still only allowing the time cycle to be used on the "new layout" to hide that it should've been there all along.

That was actually my first thought when I saw it, but then I immediately wrote it off as unlikely. Not sure why.
I’m not 100% behind it, either. It could just as easily be a Corvette convertible. The silhouette just reminded me of the Shelby Series 1.

Oh yeah, that's definitely it. Explains how literally no one was able to guess it, despite few pretty noticable visual clues. But why this concept, which even BMW themselves doesn't seem to hype up much? Maybe it is a new VGT after all.
Why would it be this? They're adding a new car to a museum, not revealing an actual new car.

I’m thinking it‘s a open top street version of the Mazda RX vision :) But we’ll see next week…

Besides the cars, I’m hoping on some much needed fixes, like being able to change the lobby settings like we could in GT sport, the selling of cars etc.

More events are what's needed the most imo... or at the least further balancing so that all World Touring Car races pay out the same amount (give or take a few thousand credits)

Having 4 races that have rewards inexplicably larger than comparative races is nonsensical.

I really do hope that this mystery car isn't a PD 'special' like the Eunos Roadster TC....Or a convertible VGT. Actually, it's not too bad. Got M8 Competition Coupe coming next Thursday to Forza, along with the 911 GT3 (992), RS3, 4 & 5......😍

Sadly a capitalist twit (might want to swap the vowel) in a suit has business planned a beautiful creation. The capitalist twit would have started with what is the bare minimum content we can get away with releasing this title with? so that we can go with multiple releases of GT this generation and squeeze every last penny. What about the fairness and enjoyment for the consumer...? what about the money replied the capitalist twit. Is it fair to pay full price for essentially an update at this stage?
