If PD will add only 3 new events, I will be very angry. New 3 cars and few events where we can drive it. It's so boring. I hope Kaz will hear fans and will do stuff for fans, not for himself.
+20 new events will give fans opportunity to play the game til the next update instead of grinding.
I agree with you, he should understand what we want in this game. If we could write a petition of whatever we want and then we all sign it. I think that would be fair considering how much everyone has paid a lot of money for this.

Maybe with adding the Toyota Hypercar PD finally got the genius idea to add a bunch of 800+ PP races to the meager selection.

One can hope.
Yes, maybe something or someone can give PD a hint of what we want!! That's the name of the game!

New Bimmer nostrils dropping on the 24th!

Jokes aside I'm extremely intrigued by the lack of consensus on the car.

Lol this game is becoming more of a meme for every update. Wonder when it will come past the beta status....

With rich content updates like this, the excellent micro transaction system, the fantastic possibilities to earn money offline, and the huge variety of races available on each track, the unparallelled physics engine only the rEaL dRiVinG sImLatorZZz that most certainly was acheived meticulously analyzing michelins tyre data and actual driving of cars (what???) No other driving game will ever beat this.

As a wheel player im so confused every time i move to my pc and boom theres vr, theres custom races, theres proper AI, theres driving physics....

In all honesty im ****ing done with GT7. Im gonna give it a few more updates to un**** itself tho, but im pretty sure its cemented by now what a joke this game really is.

Right now, the number of cars isn't the issue. There is enough to be getting to with and more will surely come. What we need is more tracks and more races.
If you look at the number, sure, there is a good amount of cars.

It is just that the selection of cars has gaping holes and is pretty weird in some places, especially since they were banging the nostalgia drums so hard and have a lot of iconic Gran Turismo cars missing.

^ I'll do one better and insert a probably non-matching coupe, but take this into consideration. I know the Iso Rivolta VGT is missing from GT7 (sorry got some Italian-sounding words mixed up lol, and didn't see anything about it under "I" in the car list thread... Should have ctrl-f'd) Said VGT was pretty much the start of the new Iso company (or whatever it is, I know Zagato is involved as well). Does anyone have any idea where PD and Iso stand? I would assume PD and Iso are still on good terms then. I was wondering if this is some sort of speedster/track-day version of the Iso Rivolta GTZ that's making its debut to the world in GT form? Ik this is probably way out there but might as well say it.

Roof obviously notwithstanding. The windshield-ish thing in the teaser remains an enigma, since it's hard to imagine a swoopy modern speedster with such an angular windshield. Even by the '50s most sporty cars had curved glass.

My second guess (that I hadn't seen mentioned elsewhere in the thread) was a '60s Corvette Grand Sport, since they have tiny windshields, but none of them matched up as well. Edit: didn't mention this at first but I also had suspicions of Callaway (Specifically C16 roadster), but nothing quite matched as well there either)

I'm probably just tripping though. More likely to be some BMW roadster thing that hasn't been unveiled yet, or some extra edition of an existing VGT.

But the Zagato Iso Rivolta VGT is in GT7. It's the Fittipaldi that's missing.

One event I'd like to see is Le Mans, Nürburgring, Spa, Monza, Sebring (new track), Bahrain (new track), and Daytona with class racing. Give us a nice WEC event with different classes and let us experience an even closer representation of real racing.

And I'm talking all 3 classes:
HYPERCAR
LMP2
LMGTE

After a quick search, GT5 and 6 had 1089 and 1197 respectively which are the relevant games to compare here. The trend of reduction in cars like in GTS cannot and will not be forgiven, forgotten and considered normal. A well funded Sony owned development team like PD has no excuse to drop to this amount of cars other than they want a few extra bucks in their pocket.
Facts.

I like how no one's for certain what the second car is.

Brings me back to the FM3 DLC photo days. :P
I also enjoy the sleuthing (to an extent, I find the obviously wrong stuff and wishful thinking presented as serious answers to be a mix of exhausting and 'seriously? do you not have eyes?'), and enjoy the potential element of actual surprise. I can't tell you how many concepts, exotic specials, etc etc. from the last decade I've searched and dismissed today, learning of things I'd never heard of along the way.
I still remember the GT Sport update that had both the Levin and Trueno, and people were so convinced one was the Piazza despite it clearly not being so, and I went through every 70s and 80s JDM model of similar shape to ensure nothing but an AE86 was a match.

Oh yeah, that's definitely it. Explains how literally no one was able to guess it, despite few pretty noticable visual clues. But why this concept, which even BMW themselves doesn't seem to hype up much? Maybe it is a new VGT after all.
