In GT4, that street was just normal street, a proper 1/4 mile strip has more traction, as well more safer.
For forza 3 wise, i have more grip on the street or circuit track, than their drag strip.

I would love Drag racing. With 16 players in one server. But make races 2 at a time, as well that you can do a burnout before starting a race, at least make a AI controlled car for a burnout to warm the tires up.
Yeah it's difficult to have a variety, but people always find the top car and exploit it (Art Morrison Corvette, Citroen GT)
BTW 'jdm 209' would you happen to have the blue em1 with the bys?
What blue em1????
Hahah you would know what I'm talking about if it was you. There was just a guy on Honda-Tech with a blue EM1 that went by kid1320
Couldn't agree more. đź‘ŤAnd I will be further pissed if there's a drifting mode, but no drag racing, since drifting is not racing to begin with.
Also wheelie bars.Staging would be excellent but if it isn't in I won't cry.
Being able to launch early and jump is something it must have. Otherwise it's just build the fastest car, full throttle.
And the variety will be superb, can't wait to take out some lambo's with a DC2 Online will be amazing in all divisions just because of the variety of cars people will be driving
Online drift battles would be smart too, score battle etc.
And the drag bracket thing is a definite yes. Hope they include it, prob not in offline mode since that isn't how gt does it's careers but possibly online.
Hahah I'll race your DC2 with my Lambo, haha. I would love to build some turbo hatches though
Delayed or not I will be pissed if there's no drag mode available. And I will be further pissed if there's a drifting mode, but no drag racing, since drifting is not racing to begin with.
What? Drifting is racing and requires a ton of skill to do correctly; you forcing the car to slide and then keep it under control.
Damn narrow-minded people.
Just because it requires much skill it doesn't necessarily need to be racing. What? Drifting is racing and requires a ton of skill to do correctly; you forcing the car to slide and then keep it under control.

I think he means drifting is a sport which is judged by a jury, not strictly racing but still motorsport.
At least it requires more technique and skill than Drag Racing, although i'm not exactly a big fan of both.

Okay, so it isn't racing, but it is a motorsport.
Yeah right, let's see you keep 2000-8000hp straight and see how you do. You would be in the wall quicker than you could say "HELP!". I'm sick of people who think because it's a straight track that not much skill is needed, these people have never been to a strip and experienced it first hand. Even with 400hp, if you have the wrong tyre pressures, or if the surface isn't prepared right, it's like driving on black ice.
Drifting IS NOT RACING!!

It's in a different league to pro-wrestling/sports-entertainment, like comparing Premier League to Division 4. You need a HUGE amount of skill to control that much power because even if it's a straight track, the cars certainly do not track straight. Have a watch at the video and pay attention to Jack Beckman's car, for something that's supposed to go straight, it does everything else, while running NHRA ET & Speed records!!I didn't say it didn't require any skill or technique, it's the same as pro-wrestling, you need some skill and technique otherwise you're screwed.
Once you've been to the track you can savour what they do on the TV and appreciate the skill that's required to master that much power in such a short space of distance.Doesn't make it any less stupid though in my opinion, it's a love or hate thing and i really don't care much for Drag Racing in general, it's only slightly less boring to watch than Golf on TV, sure when you're there it is completely different just like a plane crash makes more impact if you saw it IRL than on a tiny screen.
I love circuit racing too, that's what I was brought up on, but try and get a touring car or F1 driver into one of these and they will 🤬 themselves!! The accelerative G-Forces that are experienced in drag racing cannot be replicated anywhere in the world, not even by the space shuttle's launching into space and that's been proven.Wouldn't mind however if it was included in GT, as a lot of people do seem to like it, and i would probably give it a try myself.
I'm just more of a corner-guy and overtaking manouvres are listed higher on my preferences than blasting along a straight screaming yeehah!!
