And all I'm saying is, posting pictures that aren't pixelated because of the angle you've chosen doesn't mean a thing. That's all.

Would you like me to quote myself a third time? I know it happens at certain angles, maybe most angles as I have said before. The poster I replied to makes it seem like that happens at almost all angles which simply isnt the case.

The camera is far away from the car in both of your pictures. If you want a clear picture of the car within 2-5 m, you will see the pixels. Your shots are not proving anything.

When the car is barely seen in the picture, it is clear that the problems arent that visable at all.

I believe that PD has always included cars they thought would be nice while leaving out legends that many people/customers/car guys consider almost necessary.

One of these is the BMW E30 3-series.

The GameTrailers person who made the video review of GT5 made a good point. The Suzuki Kei cars that are premium left many wondering why those are premium and a car like the Veyron (which many dislike, but many more love) which is undoubtedly a bigger breakthrough than the Suzukis, is standard.

And that's what I think Turn10 has always done right: include cars people actually want.

This had me cracking up we where debating about the Ring in Forza being actually the correct width, and that GT5 is to narrow which is not the case. So I post up a GT5 picture for comparison this is what a member had to say.

It may be slightly smoother but like what was brought up in one of the other threads, the GT version might actually be too narrow. The FM4 version looks just about right in width.

Jdmking: Nah I say its about right.

Both those screens you could fit 3 cars alongside each other. Im not sure you could in GT5?

The pic on the bottom is GT5

So been playing a bit of GT5 today as a break from the Forza demo one thing I've noticed is how (for me at least) the force feedback in Forza is leaps ahead.

I often see that the consensus is that GT5 feels better but I just can't see it! I'm running a Fanatec GT2 and the only way I can get it to stop sawing left and right on the straights is to turn feedback way down to almost nothing (or man up, hold it tight and fight it!) and there seems so little feedback on rumble strips or loss of grip which leaves the whole experience pretty dead.

What do people think? Are those enamoured with the FFB in GT5 running different wheels? Is it just not properly compatible with the GT2? I ended back up on a controller because ridiculously that felt better!

Old news is old.

Anyways, there are several reviews up now, most of them rating the game somewhere around the same mark... Enough stuff to avoid the few biased ones ;)

Well darn that's kinda BS on the autovista mode.

I know it's wierd though, but hearing all the stuff when people talk about, it doesn't feel like that's the outcome you would expect, especially seeing it being played. It's almost like people are saying how "cool" it is, but doesn't seem like it comes off as "Great", and then they hit you with the whimmy wham of a score.

I dunno that's just my take.

I just don't like that they included the H1 Hummer. I would have much liked a GT1/3 car to explore.

Meh. It's still kinda booboo. That's just me though. Unless that mean s there's only 25 premiums.:sly:

I can understand that.
Just don't click on it. It's not incorporated into the main game what so ever. It's not core gameplay.

Dunno. Depends on who you're talking to. Around here, most people seem to be racers, drifters, painters and tuners, I think. It's a nice gimmick and all that, but not really important.

In fact, they could probably release the game without that stuff and I wouldn't even mind it.

It's more like only having 25 museum cards. Because that's much closer to what Autovista is than the premiums.

It's little bit of an oddball, definitely. On the other hand, it'll have its place on the field if a nice car soccer match

Honestly, Lumi said it perfect when comparing Autovista to GT5's Mueseum Cards.

And I find both of those forgetable. I doubt I will even check out Autovista within the first month. Just like I read one or two muesum cards. I just dont care, I want to race.

I guess I'll just listen to JC's rants and that's going to be it, most likely. If I want some info on a car, I'll just google it. Same thing I said about GT5's museum, really.

Listening to Clarkson could make it semi-interesting, at least.

Oh, well I apologize for misunderstanding you. I was only posting because the person I replied to IMO said that all photos have pixelation. And that's the only reason why I posted my pics. Just to prove his comments wrong. Sorry that we were on the same page and didn't know it. No hard feelings man. :)

Where to begin.... Actually, I don't want to continue this discussion so your side of the discussion wins. :)

My bad, I might have come off as too harsh myself :)

It's all good

Here are my smoke and snow filled shots. I did ZERO editing to mask any pixels.
Ford GT, STI in the snow
You did the same thing the other member did. When you take a photo with the car being shown through/behind the smoke, the pixelation will rarely occur. Take a shot of the smoke with car in shown in front of the smoke trail & it becomes apparent 9/10 times.

I've already had a few beers in me and it's 3:45 so what you trying to do? ;)

Anyways, I do want to thank you. After having a few hours to think about our discussion while working AND although I've said this before, I am unsubscribing myself from this thread.

The whatever you want to call it (discussions, bickering, arguments) about Forza and Gran Turismo are frivolous. Each offer the genre what the other lacks and this will go on and on till the end of the world, unless someone else makes a game so perfect, everyone flocks to that. And there is no such thing as perfection so we're stuck with what we've got.

And what we've got is two great console games with lots of potential and a large gathering. To which I am happy to see. I am sad to see the fighting but glad to see are people as passionate as they are about these games. Without players interest, these games would not be what they are today. And well, no matter what side of the fence you are on, you can agree to that statement. Unless you're a troll of course. :D

Please see post #5453. :) Then see #5456 to see that even if you reply, I won't respond so count that as a win for you. :) Not to be rude, I would like to keep the peace around here. And I would like to spend my time enjoying these games not argue/ fight/ discuss/ bicker about these games. :D

I won't be surprised if the biggest criticism of the cars in autovista is that they need more power.
