Yeah, but that's just wishful thinking in F1.but it would be much less of a buzzkill if he actually had to race for it,
They dont have to ask via radio, it could be done behind closed doors, could be rando engine change like last year or box orders that lets lewis throughWhen did they ask Bottas to let HAM pass within the first five races of a season when the title was still wide open?
And you know they'll pit Max on lap 64 to take it back. Toxic team. And Perez has been pitted for a chance at the fastest lap...almost feels like Red Bull trying to toss him a participation trophy.
So you don't have any evidence then. Got it.They dont have to ask via radio, it could be done behind closed doors, could be rando engine change like last year or box orders that lets lewis through
They're just giving VER the chance to do the same. And Perez has been pitted for a chance at the fastest lap...almost feels like Red Bull trying to toss him a participation trophy.
There was absolutely no reason to not go for it. He had a free stop, so why wouldn't they? And Perez has been pitted for a chance at the fastest lap...almost feels like Red Bull trying to toss him a participation trophy.
They did it last year at the Spanish gpI don't recall them pulling this move so early in the season, though.
Mexico last year.So you don't have any evidence then. Got it.

Perez and Russell will be too close for a safe stopSo you don't have any evidence then. Got it.

Oh, it makes total sense from a strategy standpoint, but it's still a mild annoyance from a spectator standpoint. There was absolutely no reason to not go for it. He had a free stop, so why wouldn't they?

Mexico. Race 18. Bottas not in the title contention. Even if your suggestion of purposeful sabotage is true, which is a huge stretch, it would have still made sense to do at that stage. It doesn't this early in the season.Mexico last year.
Bottas gets 1st in sprint.
Gets engine change.
Gets put to the back of the grid
1 or 2 rounds later, swapping back to another engine.
Loses grid places.
1) Mexico didn't have a sprint race last year.Mexico last year.

It's absolutely terrible. The whole point of a drone shot is to give you something you can't get with any other camera, to track fast moving objects. With the way this one is running, it's just a worse heli shot.Live drone footage...that we'll see more of in the future
Please no
Boi, you spoke too soon.Man, the drama dried up 20 laps too soon.
I don't know, would be sort of funny if they tried it at Monaco or Baku. Both tracks offer good chances for drone to say hello to building. It's absolutely terrible. I did hear "Water Leak" so running out of coolant will be a DNF type thing compared to just a straight overheat by running too close or putting too much load on the PU.Wonder what happened that made it a DNF risk now versus something they could've managed before.
