the only time you are really gonna "feel" bumps is in a race car where the supension is setup hard.
here are all these ppl driving around a "bumpy" track in ROAD cars with SOFT setup suspension, is my point coming across i hope so coz i dont think i could make it any simpler.
you know the bmw has a soft setup especially when you "see" how the weight shifts in the bmw towards the front under braking with the nose dipping toward the ground.
1.5 cm out fair dinkum guys grow up. over a bloody huge track that it is, 1.5cm out is brilliant lets see you get out and walk the track and not be out by as little as that. if you have seen any behind the scenes on games that is how they map out the track, further evidenced on the dvd bundled in prologue.
I sat down after downloading the .mov vid and ran the 956 lap of NR next to it
and while some of the lows in between crest were a little more exagerated on the demo you have to remember i was also comparing a bmw series 1 with a 956, so i put it down to different ride heights of car and camera positions, which PD have done well to incorporate. which brings me to my next point what car does/did herbert last drive around NR in my guess is it wasnt a DB9 which in my thinking would have a higher sight vantage point than a low ground hugging open/closed wheeler. i paused the 956 film every few corners while the beamer caught up hehe as the 956 does the whole circuit in around 6.5 mins.
btw 99%, i would say, of the bumps that were "visible" in the 956 film were also replicated in the demo film.
i for one applaud what PD have been able to do with the ps2 and GT4 and having driven prologue with the DFP, im hanging out to do the rest of this awesome game with it.
i know it is frustrating having to wait but just dont bi**h about it as it only makes the wait longer. especially when you constantly find little nitpicking faults to complain about. If anything you guys sound as if you personally had some money invested in this game and are now whinging like shafted consumers when you havent even played it let alone bought it.
I leave you with final question have PD yet made a s***e GT game? If they ever do then by all means hang heaps of crap on them. Till then SHUT THE **** UP.
PS thankyou amar and co for the time and effort put in to make the film possible it really fired me up more to do a respond to the nutjobs in the forum and also hanging out big time for this game.
