Is nobody else concerned that there has been no new game play announced? Yes there are lots of features that add to the current game but if you've finished that, where is the new content?

What do you mean? What else do you want in a racing game (except maybe a livery editor)? For me, personally, just alone the Standardcockpits add hundreds of cars I wouldn't have driven without them, the weather settings for offline races, overhauled physics, overhauled AI (yes I know, they have to prove that first, but still).

I'm hoping this is one of the things not announced yet. I got the impression that Kaz was not finished listing Spec 2.0 features.

I hope so, because right now there is nothing in the list that makes me want to put the game back on apart from to have a quick look at the new things.

The DLC cars and tracks may pique my interest but they're going to be paid DLC.

But where are you going to drive those cars? I mean new content as in more A-Spec events, more special events, more new scenarios for me to drive in.

Me too. Mostly due to the fact that there is a picture of new RM cars, yet Kaz said nothing about them, assuming they are in the 2.0 update and not DLC. Here's hoping what we know now is only the tip of the iceberg.

I wonder what the DLC packs will cost? The track list will be a must buy, but depending on what the car pack has, i'll either skip it or buy it.

Premium RUFS gimmie!

I'm expecting somewhere between 1-2 gig, not that I'll need to worry... I still have 300+gig free on my ps3.

The only cars I would be interested in would be mk2 escorts, xr4x4's and some others in a similar genre.

Or retro F1, but that will never happen.

Thats the problem with the game :(

There is so much content (tracks and cars) but you cant make any use of them because there are so less races.

Damn, I´ve seen an GT5 image where you can see "Monaco" and immediately I felt a need to play GT. But then I thought, mhh hotlapping for 1 hr. is boring... There are not even leaderboards, what was the main thing, I was doing in GT5P...

The reward system is also a joke. Damn, when I think about the good old GT4 times. You get a reward car after nearly every race. And there we had less cars in the game...

I dont care about those damn racing suits, paint chips and horns as a reward :ouch:

Im pretty happy sofare like somone else mentioned getting some rims on a standard car would be nice but i love all the deatails sofar. cant wait for new tracks!

Agreed. That is definately an area PD could borrow from.......dare I say it.....Forza, there I said it. The racing is great but all other aspects, upgrades, paint, community interaction, etc get bland fast.

For me User control of the weather change feature makes this update brilliant everything else is just icing on the cake sadly I am away with school next week but at least this gives me something to look forward to when I get back.

Also in this picture if you zoom in enough at the bottom you can make out two hands so this at least we will be able to see the driver arms 💡

But grabbing what? Whilst I commend the effort and I know lots of fans did want this, that really is poor in a 2010 PS3 flagship game. Clearly some cars are going to have unique cockpits but the majority of those cockpits are going to look exactly the same and I can't see myself using them.

•Simplified interior views added to all standard cars. - Well, we had that in gtpsp, besides its "very" simplified. Again, a feature that was in previous gt games, nothing really "new"
•User control of the weather change feature. - Okay, and how does that improve that gameplay?
•Settings sheet which allows you to save multiple car settings. - Well, as far as i know, you could save multiple setups in previous gt series, to bad it took 10 months for PD to "implement".
•New Spec 2.0 opening movie. - Wow, as far as i know, many players dont even watch the intro.
•Improved UI response and usability. - Okay, dont know what that mean...
•Replay forward/rewind. - Again, a common feature, all games should have these days, not really anything value adding...
•Mid-race save feature for endurance races. - Well, good for the endurance racers, again to bad it took 10 months to get this feature..
•Expanded online lounge features (narrowing down car types, shuffle races…). - Good for the verry bad implemented online mode i guess...
•Expanded Photo Travel features (you can now take photos of cars together with your avatar). - Wow, another blinf bling feature, that really doesnt give any value adding stuff to the gameplay, its like these racing suits and helmets, useless stuff...
•Added “NASCAR Pit Scene” stage to Photo Travel. - I dont even comment on this...
•Added 11 new 2011 NASCAR models. - Okay, 11 new nascar models? As far as i know, there are plenty of other cars that are more wanted...again very strange decision regarding the car list from PD.
•Added the Nissan GT-R N24 Schulze Motorsport (the car in which Kazunori contested the 2011 Nurburgring 24 Hours). - Wow, another Nissan gtr, as if we dont have enough of these allreaddy.
•Improved physics and artificial intelligence. - Okay, improved in what way?
•Support for the Logitech G25/G27 steering wheel. - Okay, another feature that should be in from the beginning..Well, i dont se:

- Drag racing, which is a most wanted feature. I guess PD and Kaz missed the "Drag section" on this forum, and all user generated drag rooms in online play?
- Change rims on standard cars, as the rims were allreaddy modelled from gt4
- Any new car models, exept these nascars and gtr. What about popular standards beeing premium?

Im not impressed, since these features more or less was in previous games, and hence these stuff should be in game from the beginning. Another evidence that the game wasnt finished.

Dude stop trolling, i know you like Forza and all. All of those features actually improve the game, it doesn't matter were else they were, if it wasn't in the game then it's new to the game. Aren't you guys the one that accuse us (GT fans) of coming and ruining the Forza side? seems to me like you got something against the game.

Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) ‘02
Nissan GT-R SpecV ‘09
Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V·spec II Nür (R34) ‘02
Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI ‘10

The RM cars of the photos will be included in the patch? I don't understand...

The "Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V·spec II Nür (R34) ‘02" looks like a Lexus to me

Yes, I can finally strike a pose right next to my car :)

Anyway, not bad of an update. Satisfies my cravings right after I saw the Logitech's G Series Wheels support, just right after I finished doing an e-brake mod.
