But heck, I never thought that PD/Sony would make an move like T10/MS do each time. Releasing the Spec 2.0 on FM4 release?

I know me either, but I think it's a slight "revenge" per say, for what T10 did last year.

PD's like "Ok mane, ju wanna play rough.. I can play rough too mane!"

Reading this thread, it beats me when people say there should be more A-Spec events. What do you think the Seasonals are? And they appear to be permanent now, and one is added every week (as well as occasional special events, time trials, drift trials etc). I do wonder if they might start doing some little championships, grid starts etc. too but give it time. And perhaps the occasional additonal event for the DLC tracks. GT5 will never be all things to all people but what game is? It still manages to cover a lot of bases IMO.

What about Citta di Aria and Special Stage Route 11? Especially Citta di Aria would be amazing.:D

Guess all previous GT tracks will be in the track pack, hope they will make some additions too, like Spa Francorchamps or smth, would be amazing too.:D

Dude stop trolling, i know you like Forza and all. All of those features actually improve the game, it doesn't matter were else they were, if it wasn't in the game then it's new to the game. Aren't you guys the one that accuse us (GT fans) of coming and ruining the Forza side? seems to me like you got something against the game.

Well if you would have looked in the forza section you would have seen that i criticize turn 10 and forza as much. Why cant you simply play both games, and see the pros and cons with both? Everything isnt black or white...
 
That will be right, my G25 breaks down so I buy a Fanatec GT3 RS v2 and NOW they add the G25 support... it's a conspiracy I tells ya!

Wow, why not implement a higly complex feature, that makes us calculate the average speed it takes to move from menu to menu...and then post the results on the leaderboards...
 
Surely even those with slower connections can leave their PS3 on overnight and will get most, if not all of it? And for those worried about their routers, wi-fi and whatnot, connect your PS3 directly to the router with an ethernet cable, or better still directly to the modem, and don't use your PC (should be asleep anyway!)
 
I'm saying probably a bit over 2 gig. I hope they add more though, what they added so far doesn't seem like enough, even though it's a LOT.

DLC though...
 
This is the one thing that always puzzled me about the Mazdas, why didn't the race mod the RX8 like SpeedSource has been running for years?

I know. But the faster we can get out of menus and racing the better. To me that is one of the best tweaks this update offers...........kinda sad I know. Heres to hoping the DLC brings some NEW sweet rides and tracks.

Well for now I'm pleased with the fully G27 support (I hope the engine start up sound would be implemented in gameplay), the mid-save endurance and the user control of the weather change feature. The standard interior views is something useless, unless they upgrade the standards to premium, that would be a great change to the cars otherwise, they're still the same. I was hoping for really NEW cars, not RM versions or NASCAR, but I think this update is really good though!
 
According to the Team Manager of the Official PS Spanish Forums, the update is coming out on OCTOBER 11th.

Thats why we have DLC, just be patient it's coming. 👍

Nah the seasonal events gave me not that feeling that its a part of the game. Also you get no reward cars...

I´ll prefer the GT4 world map with endless of stuff to do... If I only think about the 34 missions, wich cost me a lot oy my lifetime... License tests were so hard to get gold! I never golded all... In GT5 I golded all in 2 days :ouch:...

Seems like game developers make games easier these days to satisfy the fast living generation... When I was young, games were much harder to finish. Also look at FM4 where you have steering assists in sim mode... I heared that FM2 was the best or hardest Forza... Then after, it get easier and easier... So GT5 do...

I think that the car DLC will be only RM cars (those from GT auto). Hope I'm wrong though.

But probably you're right, "racing car pack"...
Also, i was guessing... the "course pack " to me sound like new themes for the editor, not new tracks.
 
Hmm forza 4 release 11 october...gt5 spec 2.0 release 11 october, dont you see anything strange? Either turn 10 wants to take customers from PD, or maybe its the other way around....well well, according to some gt fans, PD just happened to release the spec 2.0 update the same day...
