So we're back to 710kg with our choice of distribution?

Feel free to use my lounge for practice, it's been used pre-race a couple of times last season for a good amount of us. Me and smuffy are currently in there. Room is currently limited to 6 people, but will change to a 13 person limit if we all leave and come back.


EDIT: Odd, I'm half a second slower with my weight distribution than the 43/57 distribution.
EDIT: Found the half second and a tiny bit more.

Well I'm leaving my car with the 'real life' weight distribution. I'm faster (with a 15.9) and just more stable.

Don't know what all you wimps are complaining about as I get much more out my car than on original weight dist 👍

On a long stint i'd spin more though with more weight at the back. I'm bad enough in the slow corners (Laguna last season anyone?) without that

Agree with most of ya, with the weight distribution I pulled a 1:14:4xx but i spin more (loss of consistency) but without it i pull 1:15:xxx with more consistency

Well I just did some test laps, and found the sweet spot for the suspension with the 43/57 weight balance and pulled of a 14.1xx with being able to stay with in .2xx for 20 or so laps.

Yeah you can, knowing the way my luck has been I'll get stuck at work friday night..

Edit: Its all in the rear damper settings. You can make it looser than a .02 hooker, or tighter than a well you get the point.

Same here. I've only managed 1 lap in the 14's.

I wouldn't worry mate, the two things that I mentioned are what our races usually come down to anyway. When you're trying to fend off chasing cars whilst trying to make up positions ahead of you, pace is the last thing on your mind, it's just trying to successfully negotiate your way through the field without wrecking....which I happen to be reasonably good at

I use a DS3 but I dont think it'll make much difference, its you thats gotta get it round the track

As Brett taught me, choose 1 or 2 cars ahead of you (preferably the one closest) and try to keep up with them (be in good range for draft) until the opportunity comes to pass them or they spin out
