Works for me. 👍

You good with hosting and streaming the first two races from one lobby? And I assume you're also clear on who is participating in which race, and who advances?

Yep, not a problem. I'll handle it.

Is there anything that can be done with the preliminary times for Saturday?

It's the FA Cup Final here on Saturday which won't finish till at least 7:15 and that's nit including extra time and penalties.

Most in UK will be watching this and you'll therefore be losing a good majority of your field.

Liverpool v Chelsea in the cup final is a massive massive game.

Its a good thing this week is an off-week as I'm to Wembley to watch from the red corner. 👍

Enjoy the races folks. Look forward to seeing some Nationwide names in final event.

I don't believe I will be able the make the last race provided I make it through the first 2 beacuse of the fact that I have to leave by 5:45pm EDT to go out of town. Good luck to those who make the races if those are the times we are sticking with

Try to finish 5th in the second race, pushing a Toyota teammate to the 4th and final transfer spot. 👍

Nationwide Series drivers, please take note of the start times for all three races. You will all be entered into race 1, with a chance to advance to the following 2 races based on finishing order.

The GTP NASCAR Nationwide Series All-Star Elimination Race
30 laps at Daytona Oval, on Saturday, May 5th, 2012
-Room opens for Practice at 3pm EDT/8pm BST (ROOM HOST: RLFX_Niop)
-Green Flag at 3:30pm EDT/8:30pm BST
-The Top 8 finishers advance to the next race

The GTP NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Open Qualifying Race
30 laps at Daytona Oval, on Saturday, May 5th, 2012
-Room opens for Practice at 4pm EDT/9pm BST (ROOM HOST: RLFX_Niop)
-Green Flag at 4:15pm EDT/9:15pm BST
-The top 4 finishers advance to the final race.

The GTP NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Race Main Event
30 laps + 10 laps at Daytona Oval, on Saturday, May 5th, 2012
-Room opens for Practice at 5pm EDT/10pm BST (ROOM HOST: Droptop2001gt)
-Green Flag at 5:15pm EDT/10:15pm BST

Drivers, please remember that the top eight finishers from the NW race all advance to the next race. There is no need to fight for the lead and cause an accident. Winning the first race doesn't matter. All you need to do to advance is finish anywhere in the top 8.

For the second race, it's a race for the top four finishing positions.

If any driver that finishes in a transfer spot (top 8, top 4) fails to show up for the next race within 5 minutes of the green flag time, the next highest finisher will be awarded his spot in the upcoming race. It would be a really good idea for the 9th and 10th place finishers from the NW race and the 5th and 6th place finishers from the Open race to stick around, just in case someone no-shows the following race.

So it's theoretically possible to finish outside those top positions in both races and still make it into the All-Stars. :sly:

Technically, yes. But, I wouldn't count on it. Your best bet to advance is to finish in the top 8, then the top 4, so you don't have to hope that someone no-shows the next race. For those drivers that do advance, it's very important that you be ready to run the next race and show up on time. You don't want Carbonox trying to take your spot. :scared:

The first two races are both being run in the same lobby hosted by RFLX_Niop, so the top 8 finishers from race 1 don't even have to change rooms to get to race 2; just stay put. The NW drivers that finish 9th-15th will need to leave the lobby so that the Sprint Cup drivers starting in the Open race can get in the room by 4pm/9pm though. RFLX will kick any ineligible driver that hasn't left, especially when it's keeping another driver from entering the room. If you guys want to watch the open race, RFLX will be streaming the event.

Guys, I 99% won't make the All Star weekend race! I am so sorry. I am going to a event with my family and friends.

I won't be racing in the All-Star thingy today, I'd rather watch the real Nationwide race. I'll be there for Suzuka though

That just means competition has gotten tighter for the Nationwide All-ster race.

Though potentially it's also easier to qualify now...

Anyway, I've got to hate the schedule, for me the main event would start after midnight, which sucks.

I'm sure at least 9 will show up. I'm working on getting a replacement for Cowboys965 now. :)

Since only five NW drivers showed up, the first three NW drivers to show up in the NW race room will be credited with 6th-8th place in the first race, and allowed to race in the next race.

Streaming the Open Qualifier, link in my sig. Top 4 advance to the All Star Race.

This is entirely why my NASCAR career is coasting to a halt at this pace. Setups matter too much, driving skill too little, and one lagger can kill a race easily.

It appeared you had quite a bit of downforce on your car, which isn't usually necessary at Daytona. But it's unfortunate there was too much lag in the race.

I will be the new fill in for Cowboys in the #18.

Since TOCA got binned again and I wanted a NASCAR seat for a while now its a good opportunity to get a Sprint Cup seat eventually.

Would just like to say thanks to Drop for the chance 👍
