Off for A, on for B.

I'm on my way. It's gonna be an extra minute or two. A game is installing and I set it to turn off once it finishes. :ouch:

Hey. The stream on my end is lagging alot, no chatbox loading etc etc. Typical for twitch servers to crap on me. Im trying to get a smooth video picture, so if you are viewing stream will be going up and down untill its fixed.

Shame we can't watch any streams today... oh well... good luck guys!

Think that is first time I've had a rage quit.. after I dropped it for the 6th time, enough was enough.

Awesome race for me, my strategy worked great and somehow managed to not to go off once, giving me 3rd! Ended in a really close finish, less than 5 seconds covering the top 3! :D

Congrats Dr. Aug and the podium!

Had 4 stupid spins which cost me ages. The worst though was pitting extra because I forgot to switch tires. Feel it could have been something special.

Happy with the result though. Thank you all for coming out and thank you to the stewards for organizing!

Great session and thanks for putting me in the A lounge. Well done to DrAug for the win. Had a few good battles in the 1st stint but after spinning a few times it has hard to catch 9th and 8th place. I did a 3 stop and was saving fuel in the 2nd half. Probably saved too much, not that it wqould have made a difference on my race outcome. I suppose I've learnt for next time.

And sorry once again for the no stream. A few of my twitter followers have since said the video was fine on their end. But on my end I was getting alot of framedrops and lag, so I took w-g-e's advice and didn't stream. Better to have a smooth connection for the race. I have a good upload but you never know. It's a shame that some euro casters have issues on weekends. Not everyone, just some.

Here's to the next race.

My race went all wrong at 3rd lap. First Peir put me to the spin and wall. When i got back to track then Al hit my side and put me to spin again and damaged.
Then got back to track again and try to pass Al to get back my positon i spin all by myself :(
I was dropped from pole to last.
Then on first pitstop forget to change racing soft and i did 2nd stint with racing hard :(
In 2nd pitstop i did change racing soft.
After 2nd pitstop (laps 41) i was 4th and have chance to fight for podium. At the end managed to get 3rd.
Race was fun and ok. Only beginning of the race was disappointment because once i did start at pole and chance to do good race.
Well done all in B-lounge :)

My strategy was:
-1-21: Hard (+50l fuel)
-21-41: Hard (should been soft; +52l fuel)
-41-61: Soft

Had a really good start of the race was in the top 3 until my second stop where i was so focused on racing fast and putting the right amount of fuel in i forgot to chance to racing hards and pressed ok. So I had to pit again directly next lap to put hards on which put me in 6th really disappointing after having a really good chance of making my first podium in WRS. :(

Good race at the front guys.

Had another bad luck start with a nasty lap2 crash; and didn't make anything good out of a Hard (24), Hard (24), Soft (12) 2-stop... beginning to wonder if F1 is my thing. My old man reactions are letting me down or something, just can't get speed out of this car. Pretty depressing weekend.

Don't give up on the F10, when you find your set up you will be up there with the top 5-6. I have a bunch of good set ups you can try if you want. I'm sure one will work for you.

Had a fun race and enjoyed the realism of the whole thing. Had 2 really big, very silly crashes. DrW got caught up in my first one. Sorry about that.

Btw, dr aug, what was your strategy? My replays glitched and is just showing you as being on softs for the whole race :)

Anyone who's interested, mine was;
Stint 1 - 14 laps on softs,
Stint 2 - 17 laps on hards,
Stint 3 - 15 laps on hards,
Stint 4 - 14 laps on softs.

Once again, the organizers would like to ask the drivers to communicate the strategies they used. Here's my race for example (do not include the pace lap):

Softs (15 Laps)
Softs (21 Laps)
Hards (24 Laps)

Some of you already posted your tyre strategies, you don't have to do it again.

I had a very good race, made a couple of errors in the first 18 laps but from there was quite consistent. Had little wheel to wheel racing which was good and finished 40 seconds ahead in room B :D.

18L Softs
23L Hards
19L Softs

great race guys :)
really enjoyed it...
i started on softs and pit at lap 18
then i put on hards until lap 39
then softs to the end , was getting tricky at end :)

raced without abs aswell :)
thanks again for this series .. very interesting!

By my maths, should have moved up to 4th in the championship, also Bart has a nice healthy lead of 16 points :nervous:

Softs (11)
Softs (12)
Softs (1)
Hards (11)
Hards (12)
Hards (13)

You made the dreaded tire switch mistake. How many victims will this claim during the season? It's cruel because you work on 100% focus on the driving and it is so easy to forget... We need crew chiefs or the ability to set strategy pre race (fuel and tires) and have the system execute the stops per the plan unless we override.

My "strategy" was

17L Hards,
18L Hards,
13L Softs,
12L Softs.

(approximately, may be off by a lap here and there).

Had a solidly disastrous day assisted by not being able to warmup (didn't actually oversleep - was awake for two hours beforehand trying to get stuff done before the family woke up - son's lunch, bins out, and so forth. There may also have been a GP on.... :guilty: )

Apologies to Shaun, RPH, and Mika, in particular. Wasn't having fun with kerbs today, and no race/dirty air practice didn't help much, either. Or old man reflexes, as Tim (DrW) said.

My baby kept stepping out on meeeee.....

I did;
15 soft
15 hard
17 soft
13 hard.

My replay must be glitched as well. I show everyone on hards at some point except for 2 drivers.

Haven't checked my own replay but the same issue with the tires on the replays are being reported. Can the admins check the tires using the new methods they have discovered?

16 laps (hard)
16 laps (hard)
14 laps (soft)
14 laps (soft)

Pretty satisfied with 5th place, I made sure not to push too hard in order to minimise mistakes. My only off was a few laps in, where with gazziboy on my tail, I succumbed to pressure and skidded off, though fortunately I only lost 7 seconds. It didn't affect the result; I ended up a good 30 seconds behind Mohit.

The main issue I had was understeer on a full tank. In an attempt to make the car more balanced and to avoid excessive front tyre wear, I ran with a lower rear downforce setting: 194 in qualifying, 195 in the race. Even with 195, I suffered from understeer early in the race.

Congratulations to Dr Aug for the win 👍

actually as i had trouble with the tyres at cote d'azur i now have very simple strategy ,
use the softs on first and last stint so i'm sure not to use them to often , and it's always good to end with a fast stint! that's my only strategy ...
