Sad that we can't continue the old tire ruling, but the correct decision to keep everything level.

hey guys ,
i think the new rule is very nice !
we'll have to see if a very long first stint can help :)

Yes. Will be interesting to see who comes in quickly to switch and who stays out to try and drop a stop. I know what Gooners will do.

Pit a couple of hundred times as usual? :P

His pit crew earns their money. I hope gooners tips them well, but maybe not after they put on the wrong tires last race.

So looking foward to the next session on the WRS F10 league! But at the moment im 50/50. Leeds festival is taking place the same weekend and I have the option of going for the full weekend camping expirence. I dont know if im going. Not that many bands and artists playing that im interested in. But alot of my sound tech colleagues are off to party or do soundsystem tech stuff, so I might end up going as it'll be a beer filled weekend. I'll put myself down as a 50/50 in the attendace box thing now.

Hope you can make it gazzi, but understandable if you attend the festival. I suspect we'll have lower attendance due to GT Academy Finals and end of summer and such. The long break doesn't help between races. It's nice to follow the real calendar, but with the limited tracks we have in GT5 there is a bit too much time between races... I wouldn't be interested in a race every week, but a little more frequent would be better. Maybe we need to add a few non-real world tracks next year and match them with real dates on the calendar... Have to discuss that in the off season once we see what new tracks GT6 has to offer besides Silverstone, which will of course be added.

We'll have a couple GP races in fairly quick succession soon which is going to be nice with Monza following Spa.

The World Cup is over tomorrow and I'm sure attention will shift here after that's complete. I know I'll be breaking out my F1 starting next week.

Check out the new WRS-Online Announcements thread.

Few tracks I was thinking that could be added are fuji and indianapolis although gt6 will add silverstone and maybe even more tracks that are in the f1 calendar.

Posted a practice time, who want's to be the 1st to beat it?

Used Hydro's tune with more compression and stock gears slightly shortened with final gear.

Anyone got a good trans tune?

Loris and I are heading to the main lounge to do some training.

Scratch that, we're in a public lounge 1472-6118-4259-7711-9498

Why a public lounge? The B lounge is set up with Spa by default and mics-enabled by the way.

I'll be following you shortly in any case.

Nevermind... I'm going to be in B... not real interested in a public lounge or running Suzuka. We tried a public before at Monaco and it was a pain with the randoms. I need some core practice at Spa right now having not driven the car since May.

Nice practice guys... had to quit due to the extreme heat here today... took a while to get used to this car after the GT3 and World Cup... what a difference in this car... finallly got my times down into the 1'44 range, but a good second left to go to get anywhere near the fast guys.

I'll be on tomorrow (Friday) starting around 20:30 GMT to 21:00 GMT for a couple hours I hope until/unless the heat pushes me away again.

Anyone got a good trans tune?

I'm just doing the normal tranny trick. Spacing the gears equally and then setting max speed for the end of the straight... nothing fancy to this point. For quali runs hitting the top of 7th by the end of Kemmel and then having to allow for *a lot* more top speed once we get in race situations.

Should we do a 10 minute open quali session at the start of the hour (21:00) with the auto race timer set to go at 21:10? Fastest first grid start... or do you want to do the formation with standing start for lap 2?

It's late and I'm drunk :dopey: LOL That's what happens with copy paste. (I can send you that DeLorean Mohit :P)

I think it is a good idea to have a 10 minute quali, and do the formation lap with a standing start. Just to get an idea of the fuel and braking point from a standing start.

👍 Sounds good.

I'll be in the B lounge in about 60-75 minutes... By the looks of the leaderboard I have to get into the high 43s to have any shot of hanging around. Losing an entire second in T2 is not going to work... gotta get that within 0.5 and then let the draft do the rest.

PS> Google is having major problems with the division, subdivision and flag images today for some reason... that's why they aren't showing up on the leaderboard I suppose.

Frank and I just left ;) Nice talking to you about racing in general. Frank is doing his nickname proud, he knows his racing ;)

Setting up B now.

EDIT: Got in the 43s on softs. Ran some laps on hards and liked them as well although obviously slower.

Love this track.

Is there maybe a possibility of maybe having the practice race an hour earlier then I would be able to make it. I understand if it's not possible because of more people not being able to make it.

PS. Practicing in the B lounge for about an hour.

I originally told Bart I preferred 20:00 GMT, but I am OK to move it up. I would actually prefer 18:00 as it turns out with my kids schedule. I'd say I'm 100% at 18:00, 75% at 19:00 and 30% at 20:00 right now. I can probably join at the later times, but just run a partial race.

18:00 would be even better for me.

PS. Does anyone have a good gearbox setup they could pm me have been searching gtplanet for an hour can't find anything.

I can do 18:00 as well, I hope Frank does too.
