You can't, but given that content, everyone will consider it deleted now ;)

-- Edit

The GT300 race was restarted since hellboyfr had bad lag. His car even kept jumping back and forth when we were all parked full stop. So he was asker to leave and I feel sorry for him, but it was the right thing to do, it would have ruined the race for everyone near him.

Besides that, I had a most repetitive race today! Here is a "typical" stint for me:

1) Paginas ("Nitro"), me and Nepalii get in front with small gaps between us.
2) I catch Paginas but he is too fast to get passed.
3) We manage to lose Nepalii.
4) But slowly, Paginas also builds a 3-4s lead on me.
5) Nepalii catches up by pitting early.
6) Paginas pits late, so we are all together again.
7) Back to step 1!

There is more to it of course, like how johnkiller2 had an accident early, how I thought Moleman must have had damage when he gave up the lead and pitted on lap 9, and how I fought it out with Josh-F for a long time (again, sorry for bumps mate, really messed my braking sometimes).

But in essence this was the story of all 3 stints for me.

Paginas wasted all his gained time by pitting late, but he was so fast he just won it back again. I could do nothing but hang on to his draft for as long as possible.

Well done Paginas, congrats on the win!

And thanks for all the bad air :D

Next week I am not sure one drafting leader will be enough to pull me to the podium :nervous:

Agreed.

I think the only reason Litchi ruled against it in the beginning.. is because I think he had the impression that Graham disconnected on the second flying lap.

? I'm just starting to take part to this discussion... I was not against something before (or show me where).

Well, i think there's a rule for this:

QRulesB.png

continue equal...continue. Continue isn't equal redo.
If the steward is disconnected during the warm up lap or the 1st flying lap, the session will restart.
If the steward is disconnected during the 2nd flying lap, the 1st flying lap will no be redo. The session restart with 2 warm up laps and 1 flying lap (for an equal tyre wear).

I'm just stopping to take part to this discussion... :D

EDIT provisional GT500 results will be posted tomorrow morning (ps3 off). Or maybe someone can post the results now ;)

I am still at work (working...honest). I will be able to help get a few people qualified this evening, as long as my wife is cool with it.

Like I said that isnt the OP that works of the link in this thread or in the main thread. Those rules were posted in the qualifier thread that is dead.

Can you insert that graphic into the main thread rules?

Can the stewards let me know as soon as possible their decision on my mistake with the ballast on today's race?

So, it looks like I am off to dinner with the wife. If I get back soon enough I'll check the thread to see if anybody else needs to get all qualified up.

Litchi, you have been learning English for a few months and its better than mine.

You sir deserve a pat on the back :D

Sorry I haven't been on this week, I've been fighting a cold I caught and I was hoping it would be gone by now and I could join in through the waiting list. It's really kicking my butt though so I'm gonna sit this round out.

Should be good the rest of the season though.

Agreed.

I think the only reason Litchi ruled against it in the beginning.. is because I think he had the impression that Graham disconnected on the second flying lap.

It was me that said he wouldn't get to run again, the information I was given was that graham had disconnected, had this been the case, his only completed flying lap would of been his time.

A couple of things.
Firstly, I feel gutted for hellboyfr, his lag was really bad although I would never ask anyone to leave the race, he left by his own accord. My suggestion was for him to start from the pit lane. I know it's not ideal but I didn't see anyway that he could of get round that first lap without damaging himself or others. He did say it seems to be a problem when I am hosting. With this in mind I am wondering whether Cicua will be up for hosting future GT300 races as his connection seems to be very good. Hopefully thus hasn't put hellboy of racing with us in the future.

Secondly, whilst watching the replay I noticed lots of people running wide at various parts of the circuit. So, I thought I would check everyone's fastest lap to see if they were clean. Oh dear, this will change the bonus points quite a bit. Eventually I found 3 drivers whose fastest lap was clean. I am going to spend the next day or two going through the replay looking for incidents. There were a couple that I noticed during the race, so please if anyone has anything to report , do it ASAP whilst it is fresh in the mind.

Finally, I think it's fair to say that we should revert to same class racing for the remainder of the season, we don't have the numbers to run mixed class properly.

my little race report:

I had little idea how tyres would hold, as I have had little practice this week. However during week I made a big setup change which seemed to make the car much more stable and faster.
anyway while I was working I did some quick math and worked out that a 2 stopper would be best.
The 1st stint went very well for me, I seemed to have super speed compared to everyone else, was hitting high 2:02s nearly every lap. Most people I got past quite easy untill I came up to falcon, who put up a super fight for about a lap (some cases quite too aggressive), finally got past in turn 2 after our cars came together (no damage, just bumping BTCC style lol). Johnkiller seemed to be having problems and started falling back. I caught up to the leaders quite quickly.
Mole pitted super early, I started to panic thinking should of pit or not BUT no I would stick with the 2 stopper pitting at end of lap 13.

Came out just in front of cicua who followed in my draft for about 10 laps untill his tyres started to fall off and I could get that 3/4 second gap which would help me in the pitstops.
pitted on lap 26 which left just 10 laps on the mediums.

Nep and cicua went flying past while I was exiting. Started to panic again so I put my foot down not expecting how the mediums would hold after no practice. I through the car around like a ragdoll in the 1st few laps. Nep tyres were giving up which was holding cicua up and which put me on the back of them. Down the back straight cicua made a move I saw a gap and pushed cicua past nep (NASCAR style) and then went on the inside of cicua in the final chicane.
after that I just wanted to keep the car on the road so didn't push too much.

was a fantastic race, really enjoyed it plus I needed that win!

Twist,

I looked at my fastest lap, on lap 26 at 2:00.160, and I view it to be not clean. I'm slightly wide between turn 2 and 3.

My second fastest lap, lap 27 at 2:00.455 I view to be 100% clean. Please use this time when setting the bonus points for the race.

Cheers johan.
I did notice it was just too wide.
I only checked everyone's fastest laps. Of the 10 drivers fastest laps I have checked up to yet, only 3 of them were clean.
I would urge everyone to do as Johan has done and provide the lap number and time of their fastest clean lap. I will then pass all the info onto the pure officials for judgement.
The drivers whose fastest laps were clean are; ByGgy, filip_ovik and GTP_Cicua
