I don't mind.

Should I change the room to 8-10 max participants?
I would say 8, that way if everyone shows, no randoms can join.
If Litchi hosts GT500, he'll have to make it 10, but he can kick and such.(if a jackal comes in)

I am just now realizing that I am an hour early. :dopey: I guess I can get some tire testing in.

so we're doing public rooms now? ugh... switching cars...

can't get in...

Starting at the back of the grid, I knew my Pit strategy and tire management would garner some extra points. Slow and sure to finish better than last.

Like a good Janitor, I kicked the riff-raff and closed the lights in the room before leaving... ;)

great race in NTSC GT300, but i feel a little disappointing, i started with mediums n did my first pitstop in lap 12 with 40% of my tires following my 2 pitstop strategy, but looking at the results 1 stopper was the best option, tire wear wasn't bad in this track

Well done, you took max points just like me :)

Very pleased with my feature race. Started nice and easy, fell 15 seconds back, stayed out till lap 23, where I pit in for my mediums, with a still comfortable 5 second lead.
Nice and steady the second half too, ran 2-3 fairly aggressive laps going for best lap, nice to see I got it.
Had about 5% left on hards at lap 23, about 10-15% of mediums left at finish. :)

Sprint race: Don't start on mediums, unless you're in the very very front. :(

its hardly laughable as no one cheated and everyone had a good time racing which I think is the main point for this series to have fun.

I think we have to bear in mind that we do this to have fun. I like robust rules that are followed, but in the same time I think we should all enable each other to have a positive experiance racing

I think some people are missing something here.

I'm glad that some have been able to buy medium tires, check their HP/PP to do an oil change, or whatever they might have to do in order to prepare for the sprint race. I do not remember seein 4-5 HP/PP/Weight checks before the start for all the drivers that went into the settings, but I believe all of em where following their car regulations. I'm not afraid of someone cheating: I do not have the skill to win the championship and I've already got a pretty good rig anyway.

So what's the point ? why do I feel I should comment on this, again ?

I find this really unfair considering NepalI got disqualified at Nurburgring cause he had 1 more pp due to the ballast balance..

This guy has not been able to tweak his ballast before the race so he got disqualified; this is sad, but the rules have been strictly enforced like it should have been.

This week, the rules have been bent to ensure a "positive experience racing". Which is sad, cause it's unfair regarding what have been done last week.

Unfairness is something I hate in real world, therefore it's spoiling the fun for me.

I might be the only one thinkin like that, but I thought I should express my point one more time.

@ByGGy : with NEPALII at the nurburgring, it wasn't a balance issue,he didn't apply enough ballast. he had the chance to correct his ballast but he insisted that his ballast was correct and the specs were wrong. As for this week, I did notice that people entered their options menu, not the settings menu. The problems for concern were johnkiller2 entering the settings menu, although I wouldn't of allowed it, the host said it was ok. This was a mistake. C-Falcon entered the garage menu which should be a DQ, I did mention it at the time, but then I have to move away from the ps3. Scanny disconnected and came back to the room. Everyone else was fine. It is ok to enter the options menu, just not the garage or settings.

I did say at the time Twist that I only checked PP and offered you the chance to check my car to prove I didn't switch cars or change it and was not aware of not being allowed to enter the garage as it doesn't specifically say. It just says settings which garage doesn't go under. Not allowed to go into settings or the garage would of been better.
