Large day one patch!

I don't know if someone posted it but didn't they release what the day 1 patch would contain? I could've swore I saw it on GTP

Ok, so the threads have been merged. Problem is, title of the thread is wrong. The patch is stated as being "fairly large".

Also, my thread came first, and it had a poll which quite a lot of people had voted on. That's now gone...

And I'm the guy who started the second thread. I agree with you as we had different points but my post was a bit premature as my thread was intended to talk post patch changes but since we are all still speculating, the comments where about the same in both threads.

The core reason of my (second thread) thread was to more quickly identify updates from the day one patch as we are assuming its going to be large,and with so much "meh" reception a few days back I thought it could be a great reference for deltas between what we have seen, and what we will all play day one.

How is it unfounded? Do you really think the online lobbies wouldn't be loaded with idiots who have their cars plastered with porn?

Putting dozens of hours into a penis car livery seems like a rather futile use of your time considering it would be seen in only one race before you were banned from playing online entirely. And I've owned FM4 for over a year and I've yet to see anything of the sort either. So, yes, if they were to put even the most limited of reporting options, the fear is unfounded.

Maybe not a popular opinion, I just think that if you pay £40 for a game that's new, much of the time it's somthing that doesn't last the test of time, the fact that were here talking about it still suggests that many of us can't wait for release.

I have been on nights out many times costing me much more than £40 and not had as much fun as I had racing online tonight. Gt6 realistically could cost a hell of a lot more, not to mention that they try to keep us interested with more content. The gamers with no internet connection are still going to get a damn fine product.

I love the fact that after I have paid the developer hasn't given up on us, the reality is that most of us do have a connection and appreciate the ongoing support.

It's almost too much content for it to be developed between the time it went gold and now. Smells like DLC. Will gladly be proven wrong though.
