Imagine having a dealership where the prices only go up.
Imagine having a dealership where the prices only go up.
Yup, pretty much real life now. My driven to hell and back Tacoma with 400k on the odo us worth 13-15k now. 4 years ago, it’d be a stretch to get the KBB value for it. It’s a sellers market right nowSeems to have been the way in the UK the past year or so now. My m3 f80 is worth more now with 9k more on the clock and a years age compared to when i bought it...
I was asking a genuine question not making a statement. I have no knowledge of the luxury car market. Have prices of these vehicles really increased by 30-50% in the last 12 weeks? If not, what has the actual market value % increase been on say the F40?Only that you’re right, it’s absolutely mental, if that’s what you were getting at...
This is exactly what is happening with classic cars. PD should have made a career mode in which we could benefit from that. Like starting your career in the 80's, giving you only access to those and older cars at their correct value back then. The career mode finishes in 2022 with all cars available and some of the older cars you purchased in all those 'years' went up in value like they did in real life. It would be the players choice which cars to buy and make a profit for choosing and selling the right cars.Imagine having a dealership where the prices only go up.
Then we would just have people complaining about not being able to use newer cars right away. No matter what PD does, entitled children will be upset. This is exactly what is happening with classic cars. PD should have made a career mode in which we could benefit from that. The stupidest thing about these hagerty prices is that they take into consideration a resell value in real life, when you cant even sell cars inside the gameThis is exactly what is happening with classic cars. Maybe, but there would be a reason why some cars aren't available right away in career mode. In other games the cool stuff is also reserved for later in the game. Now there is no logical reason why I can't buy an F40 today or why I must win an invitation to buy a Carrera GT.Then we would just have people complaining about not being able to use newer cars right away. It would be nice if we could "keep" Legendary car and sell it for higher price than we bought. It would be realistic. The stupidest thing about these hagerty prices is that they take into consideration a resell value in real life, when you cant even sell cars inside the game
You could do something like that in forza motorsport 7It would be nice if we could "keep" Legendary car and sell it for higher price than we bought. It would be realistic.
Also the 91 model is an USA original, which is road legal in US, as the '89 model is from Belgium, which only can be driven in the US by the "Show or Display Law", limiting it to 2500 miles/yr. The US version is heavier (to comply with crash tests) and less powerful (to comply with emissions limits, somethint that didn't exist in Europe in the 80s)You'll have to fill us in with the details.
Is a 1991 Ferrari worth more than an '89 model? Do cars go for higher prices in the US? What colours were the cars and what effect does that have on the value? Is the timing of the year important i.e do people pay more coming into the American/European summer months as opposed to in winter?
I've got that down as around 24th June give or take a day or soWhen is the 250 GTO coming back? I need to buy a standard body one. Wide is great but the best liveries are on the standard
I'm still a little short for the Ferrari. Has a car ever sold out in one day? Trying to figure out if I'll need to grind it in one day or twoThe "Finally, a new car" Tuesday night refresh:
NEW:
SOLD OUT:
- 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe, 1,400,000 Cr. (up 300,000 Cr., with an up-arrow)
FRESHLY ON LIMITED STOCK
- NONE
PRESUMABLY THE LAST DAY FOR:
- 1967 Ferrari 330 P4
- 1969 De Tomaso Mangusta
Usually cars are on limited stock for 2 days, so the P4 should be around until Thursday night.I'm still a little short for the Ferrari. Has a car ever sold out in one day? Trying to figure out if I'll need to grind it in one day or two
100% 🔥I don't envy those who bought the Firefighter Red 300 SL for 300,000 Cr. less. No amount of credits will compensate for that horrible color. And the current one is one of the best combinations for the Gullwing (black with red interior).
I don't think we're ever gonna be able to sell cars. They mentioned it once and then never said anything again and outside of a few of us here complaining, there doesn't seem to be any real push to be able to sell cars. Looks like people complained for a bit and then just kind of accepted it.So, if PD is so eager to simulate real life prices for the legendary cars, will they also give us equivalent resale value for these cars? Because, the last time we could sell cars, you only got, what, about 1/3 of the cars' price back, no matter, if you had driven it or not. Especially for the cars from the Legendary Dealership you should get equal money back (maybe unless you put 100,000km on it). That way, you could even start speculating with buying cars and selling them at a premium at a later date.
Same for UCD cars - they sell them there with a discount depending on mileage. At maximum, the same discount ought to be applied to selling your own cars.
Won't happen though. I think there's a 99% chance selling will be like in previous games.
I'm dying to sell my 9 Skyline R32 GTR's that i had to buy to get the trophyTo be fair I guess I only have three or four cars I want to sell, and I guess some of those will be unsellable anyway because they were prize/roulette cars.
Why would you buy 10 of those instead of 10 of a much cheaper car if you didn't intend to keep them?I'm dying to sell my 9 Skyline R32 GTR's that i had to buy to get the trophy
No one has accepted it. The ability to sell cars has been promised twice.I don't think we're ever gonna be able to sell cars. My biggest fear in gt7 is PD giving you the ability to sell cars and at the same time nerfing the money rewards from the high paying races. No one has accepted it. The ability to sell cars has been promised twice.
