It seems I am going to have to give my lawyer a call later today...to work out the finer details of our competitors having red paint schemes too... The Triple R team takes its red very seriously and believe the tones seen on 2 of the top 3 drivers cars were just not up to standard and should just go try out a pink or purple or something...
I shall be back once my lawyer, spinner, has looked over my paper work, and consulted the old paint specialist Rusty.

Hi Phil.
We run at 2030 HRS AEST (Sydney, Australia) which I believe puts us 11HRS in front of GMT. Please note this comp is restricted to Australian / New Zealand residents only. We do this not because we want to exclude our friends in the United Kingdom (for example), but rather due to our experiences of persistent lag issues that can arise between Australasian and northern hemisphere locations - a refection on how poor current internet infastructure/bottlenecks & services can be downunder you could say. This is especially important to manage as best we can given we run full damage in our races.

After great debate and deliberation (2 hours testing tonight between getting booted from Cac's room and having not much other choice) I chose the Lamborghini LP640 not as bad as i thought it would be and should be interesting to see how it goes against the other cars.

Nice choice there Jol. The LP640 is a bit of a beast, revs up nicely and screams!. Love the fact that it acts like a RWD car even though its AWD. Let me know if you'll make it for the test race this monday around Motegi. Give you a good idea of the other cars strengths and weaknesses.
Remember all once you have locked in a choice you can still change your mind up until the 7th of April. So if something isn't sitting right i suggest trying the remaining cars and giving them a go during the test race to be certain.

ORS GT | SEASON 1 | TEST RACE 2 BRIEFING
On the 1st of April we will be running the second test race. Use this race make your final decision on your car of choice. All standard ORS rules apply. Qualifying and after race scrutineering will be held so ensure your cars engines are ran in.
Test Race two (2) will be a 38 lap race around Japan's Twin Ring Motegi circuit.
The ORS white line rule applies at all times during qualifying and racing. While this is a test race and no penalties will apply i expect you all to follow the rules.
Regarding pit exit please use common sense if you come out in front of another driver. I suggest everyone to keep right and HOLD your line. Also be mindful of your entry speed to the pits. Anything faster than 80kph will see your B-spec cut the grass and break the ORS white line rule. In an official round you would incur a penalty for this breach.
If you do have an off be wary of the reduced grip level once you've rejoined the track. Also when rejoining, please aware of your position on the track relative to your fellow races. Drivers rejoining the track must give way to race traffic and not become an obstruction.
Now finally all drivers will be qualifying and starting on the racing medium compound for this test race.

But Moon & I would like to proudly present the formation of our team for Season 10:
Direct from Tokyo Japan come the awesome AWD Nissan GTR's. Ying Yang Racing will be running in perfect harmony.
I will be running Black paint with white rims while Moon will be running White paint with black rims.
You all know who the home crowd are going to be cheering for tonight!? Catch you tonight at Twin Motegi!!

Haha - awesome Arie looks pro and thanx for the comments gents. Kudos should go to Mr Chan also who created the Viper Racing logo. In terms of the comic book strip, it's not as tricky as you might think. I have several templates with a little script that you run to give it the Marvel comic book look. Basically with script done all you do is resize the images to suit the boxes, run the script drop in the comments and hey presto instant comic book styles. Happy to share with anyone. You'll need CS4 (Photoshop) or higher to make it work.

After much consideration, testing and some rather embarrassing photos involving a chicken, some race tape and an under-aged goat, I have decided to part ways from team Gallardo and accept a drive with team ford.
Apologies to my former team mate cactus for my sudden departure, but I feel this is the best thing for team Gallardo which has such strict policy when it comes to any farmyard animals.
On a positive note, I am really looking forward to drive for team ford. The gt40 might not have the legs down the straight but is very forgiving (unlike Team Gallardo) through the corners. Also the ford has so much more cabin space which will easily fit a medium sized goat or even a small calf, happy days.

Some great racing again last night. i did notice a few drivers off their practice time but overall a nice clean race.
I did test some new settings for the room. Normally i host the race on High race settings with no mic. Last night i tried out Medium race settings to see if it would help stablize drivers who have slightly unstable (at times) connections. Unfortunately during the replay i noticed more lag from the field than normal (while it was very minor) it wasn't smooth as the High setting i normally use. So the races will go back to the High setting. What was odd too is the jase/arie incident. I seen no lag from Jase what so ever but it was clear that something pushed Arie. I blame this on the medium race setting as i noticed little things like cars doing small amounts of jumps though very minor it could cause issues in close racing. With that said it was still a great race for everyone.... except taital.
As usual Toiv dominated the field with ease. Even had a few spins and did a donut or two while still pulling away. Toiv has decided to give the challenge car (Aston V12 Vantage) a run to challenge himself more and have a less boring race. This is not set in stone yet. He will be testing the car out to see if he can get it competitive and will advise if he will lock it in. Keep your fingers crossed guys

I am allowing Cac to decide which team he wants to join. 1 team will have 3 drivers. Cac you are free to remain in your Gallardo or switch to that teams car. Jol and Toiv will be running different cars but will be on the same team. I want to ensure everyone is in a team and that the team bonding/rivalry is strong this season.
Everyone may be wondering how this will affect the points as 1 team will be earning 3 driver points instead of 2 like the other teams. Well the good news is the points will still be fair. Only the best 2 results from a the drivers will be added to the teams points with the lowest scoring result being excluded for the team with 3 drivers. This will ensure the points are kept fair for all teams.

What I remember from the incident on lap 2 was Jase going deep under brakes, without any contact with Asuka, asuka was pushed wide in the same fashion as when you get hit from behind.
Asuka ran wide to drivers left, spun on the grass, from there he spun on to the circuit where we attempted to trade paint schemes, sadly no paint was exchanged just insurance details.
Our cars were absolutely hammered lol. I typed whilst in pit lane which gave Asuka a big gap, i settled in to a routine with little mistakes but soon after my bad luck with Montegi continued.
Spun a few times, ran wide a few times, did a few donuts to avoid running wide (actually quite fun). Ended the race 1 lap shy when i ran wide out of 4, got sideways and ended up head first in to the edge of the tyre wall on the left side. Vend was already miles clear on new tyres so i decided to park it.
My SLS had a few issues with turn in without wiping off more speed then usual.
Not looking forward to Nurb next week knowing the car is quite hard to get out of corners without losing ground to other cars.
