I think swift has something of a point there. 👍
Now, don't get me wrong, racism exist and comes into play quite often when police are involved.
However, I feel that more often than not, the brutality we all see coming from police is not about the race of an individual but instead, just about the police being power-hungry jerks with psychological issues going beyond racism.
Frankly, I think police are far too often brutal and violent beyond what is necessary.
... One last thing...
Young Warrior,
If you think my post had anything to do with the idea of where racism occurs then I need not say anymore about your replies... You do all my work for me when you miss the greater points of replies such as my own.
Did it ever occur to you that I was not talking about where racism occurs?
I was actually talking about the condition of politics and racism in America and how the partisan lines you drew up had no validity.
Republicans and Democrates both have racist people in their parties (of all races)... Try not to act like it's just the white republicans.
Btw, you still didn't address my questions.
When was the last time you came down here to new orleans and discovered the wonders of racism?
Personally, I have a feeling you don't know the first thing about racism in the state of Louisiana.
If you did, you certainly wouldn't have been talking about racism down here in the same reply with commentary on racist republicans...
This state is one of the biggest "Dem" states in the country and it's full of both white and black racist!
That sort of situtation doesn't sit well with me when I see you acting like republicans are to blame for the racism.
I mean really... Do you think the good old boy union workers are racist? Hell yeah they are!
And what party do you think those union boys vote for?
