What time are servers going down? And do we know how long maintenance typically lasts?
Check the article, as regards to your time zone. I you're sitting in front of your PS and logged in, you'll see the notifications when it counts down: 30 minutes, 15 minutes, 5 minutes, 1 minute. Then, servers are down usually for a couple hours. During that time, your PS will download and copy the update, as usual.

06:00 - 08:00 UTC, according to the Gran Turismo site.

That translates to 08:00 - 10:00 CEST btw.

Thanks guys

I really hope they bring back the option to buy upgrades via pre race and online lobbies. I don't like how you have to go to the tuning shop every single time. It makes buying stuff for all the cars you just bought with your Tomahawk money really tedious.
I want to be able to create an online lobby with my friends (and the public) specifically for practicing and tuning cars, and be able to upgrade all of my newly purchased cars in one go. That was a really nifty feature in GT6.
Also, being able to undo weight reduction and various engine tuning upgrades was nice. Not realistic of course, but very convenient none the less.

I honestly don’t think PD is going to nerf the Tokyo Grind

The whole goal of ANY GAME is to get people playing it…. And keep people playing it.

Right now, the Tokyo grind is a major contributor to the latter. No matter how nauseating it is. They’d be dumb to nerf it, without providing other alternatives.

Not to mention, I’m willing to bet the majority of players don’t even know about the glitched Tommy. Most players don’t scour the internet for info on this game. They just play for entertainment

They probably wont touch the Tokyo payouts.

They are pretty likely to try and fix the PP system that makes the Tomahawk work there, because it's a fundamentally broken system that has negative impacts at a far greater scope than "me can do tokyo event fast :)"

I look at that silhouette and can't see anything other than a 'Vette. No clue which one it might be, but all I see is Corvette. Nose looks like the 25th anniversary Stingray, so that would be my guess if I had to make one but I have no idea if they made that in convertable.

Not gonna lie, I'll find it amusing if the mystery car is indeed a VGT. It would be an interesting way for PD(I) to attract the wrath of both people who think the fantasy cars are a waste of resources and those who are dissatisfied with the size of the update.

G'day first time poster, long time lurker. I see there isn't much info available on this new update. Is it just me, that the previous updates had more info about them or is this the norm? I only got gt7 just after April update.

That long nose with the big inflated fenders are very very Maserati.

I know the Maserati Gran turismo is in the game, but that front is very familiar.

Maybe this mystery car is the 2008 Ferrari California?
Absolutely not. We repeatedly ruled it and other cars out because they all had a lip pointing upwards as a spoiler.
The silhouette doesn't have that. Plus the proportions and windshield lenght/height don't match.

Welcome to GTP. It seems that the same as the last update we won't know all of the details until maintenance begins. At least we still get the teaser pics for the cars. This update however has everyone stumped as to what the 3rd car is.
