*Improved presentation (UI, music, in race UI, car sortingetc): Don't mind me, I liked a bit gt6's UI, but I want a better UI art to satisfy my designer joy :P.

*Improved core gameplay (sound, AI, driving, framerate, etc): Framerate will allready be fixed due that all the things gt6 has were made for ps4 in first place, so :sly:. Sound is allready having an overhaul :lol:, so just left AI :)

I'll read reviews.

But essentially;

Physics (I actually liked GT5 physics excluding the crashes)
Sound
Graphics
Customisation

Obviously everything has to be PS4 standard. A bad offline experience can be countered by not forcing the user into playing it through restricting online credits, and cars exclusive to winning offline races.

You are describing the Project Cars career mode here. You can move towards open wheelers, endurance racing etc. You can skip parts if you want, move sideways, and you race full seasons in a single car at up to full, real time race lengths. You can literally have one career that lasts for hundreds of hours if you want to and you can have multiple careers focusing on different disciplines as well.

A bit late to reply, but still: As i understand it, the PCars career is very 'open' and doesnt restrict advancement, you can also jump into any season you like.

What i mean is either starting at karts (child) or with sunday driving (adult), and working your way up to F1 or Le Mans/DTM eventually, even have a bit of an 'aftercareer' of sorts.... No clue how to really describe it.

But, there needs to be some ownership of the cars and teams, and the AI drivers need to pose a challenge and be somewhat consistent across the career mode, so you could build rivalries for example.

A racing game with an actual racing story. See Rush for one great example ;)

Ownership of cars/teams and being a racer driver don't really mix. It's very rare that a racing driver will own any cars they drive (Although many take ownership afterwards), and even rarer that they have anything to do with the team itself.

G27 support.
No G27, I'm done with all of PS4's racing game.
I know it will work with some lines of code on PS4's firmware or app.

With ownership i meant attachment to a certain degree. You won't be getting it when the cars are treated as throwaway things, to be discarded at one's leisure after the race is done :)

I hate that feeling in games, where you like a car, but it's completely inconsequential to the game as to what happens to it. It's just "a" car rather than "your" car (whether you own it, or the team does, does not matter).

Not sure how one gets a feeling of ownership when you can run literally a single Seasonal for 5-10 minutes and win enough money to buy 100 or more cars. Does going through the seemingly endless button pushing and repetitive animations involved in getting those 100 cars into your garage really mean more to you than having those hours available instead to go racing?

I'd have a much stronger feeling of ownership if I had a livery editor and better customization so I could create cars that were absolutely unique to me. Having a blue car the same as 200,000 other guys doesn't really feel like ownership to me.

1. No standards;
2. More cars;
3. More real tracks;
4. Improved A.I.;
5. Decent damage;
6. Failures;
7. Arcade mode with pitstops and fuel/tyre consumption;
8. And open world mode just for fun;

I bought every single GT so far but there's no way i get fooled again by PD
No matter how many promises will be made by Kaz: not twice, buddy!
GT7 has to be the driving game of my dreams to be a guaranteed purchase

I don't mind the standards, I just want them to make more wheel options when buying the cars or have a used wheel shop, both would be perfect!
Changing wheel and tyres/tire dimensions is a feature I have always wanted to see, on stock wheels too :-)

I would also like to try this shareplay feature for 2 player or maybe more make it 4 player at max.

More tuning sheets would be good :) I have to buy more than 1 car ( same model ) to store my setups as GT6 only has 3 tune sheets per car. All of my owned cars in GT6 garage are special, they have been "rebuilt" and gives me more enjoyment to drive than when stock. I treat as if I owned them in my private garage, ready to be driven at the track day anytime :P

Really, even better than that, it'd be handy for PD to look back at the PS2/PS1 games and let us just save tune setups separately. I mean, sharing them in-game should also be a feature in a 2016 game, but if that isn't possible/feasible, surely a tiny file that we can toss on a USB and send over to people (or post, on a certain website) is.

It is amazingly convenient to be able to simply zip a tuning file and allow anyone to easily download, unzip and drop into the appropriate file. Saves a whole bunch of time and unnecessary inconvenience and should be a real boon for tuners as well. Should allow you to keep track of how popular your tunes are through a download counter.

Reminds me of car sharing feature and the ability to borrow and keep them :D I really hope this will make a return in the next GT on PS4. Remove the limit of shared cars as well, so we can share all the cars we want, sort of a garage showcase :) This share feature should be also for user made tracks, I hate the GT6 implementation of having to be online and the long winded route to access it from in game via community tab ( needs search/sort feature too )

I would like it to have more tracks like anderstorp,zhuhai,jarama.Then it should also have a livery editor or custom livery maker and it should also allow a road car to be converted into its race spec like MP4-12 c to MP4-12c GT3 and F40 to F40 LM.The tracks should be laser scanned like AC.

I would also like it to have tracks in older configuration like suzuka with 5.864km length,Brands hatch with dingle bell chicane and spa with bus stop chicane (1992 version).

Then it should have an ability to select opponent cars for the race which we want for arcade races.

And last but not the least fix Mclaren F1's topspeed problem and unrealistically high topspeeds for other cars.

Haven't posted here in a real long time, but honestly everyone is saying what we've said at least 4 or 5 pages back.

After being converted to a PC gamer mannnnnn.........It's tough I haven't experienced other racing games outside of the ones I use to mention awhile back, but still those games, and the newer ones except maybe Pcars(I almost got it, but I don't like what I'm hearing about that company, or what their practices are) are very good games at what they try to do.

Still one thing has remained constant you don't need an outrageous car list to satisfy the customer base again most here, and just people in general will not drive 1300 cars unless there are specific events for them like a la GT4. We can debate this all day, but even I know I won't drive every version of the 2015 GT-R or whatever.

A.I I'm not saying it must be world-renowned, but man we do finally need to update it again being on PC for awhile now(5 months now) it's something you can't play around with anymore even back in the day when I was younger as a kid in the 90's between 7-10 etc I appreciated games that had difficulty.

Tracks matter the most I'm starting to think at least because I've been playing Grid Autosport a good bit I know not every track is close circuit in the game, but still the diversity of it is what I've missed. GT is doing fine in this area except some places just don't need to exist any longer like Cape Ring(still by far the most boring track in existence visually speaking).

With all that said....If I ever buy a Playstation 4 and GT Sport or GT7 or GTwhatever. Simply put it needs to be on par with what we see in this generation. Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, DiRT Rally, and many others.

If it can't stand up to those in a nut shell I'll say this again.....IF GT Sport and GT7 cannot can't or just won't stand up to rFactor2, Assetto Corsa, DiRT Rally, Project Cars...(insert other racing game here) then simply put it's not worth investing in.

You are right about the majority of people not driving the majority of cars and Sony's own statistics back that up for GT6:
81% of players have less than 100 cars.
70% of players have less than 50 cars.

Just damn though I didn't think it would be that bad lol. It gets worse most like 90% have less than 200 and then like 96% less than 300. which means only 4% of the fanbase really cares that badly about 1300 cars which should tell you the majority doesn't give a crap one way, or the other.

Just saying in hindsight I'll say this playing games like Need for Speed(Which I know isn't sim) or DiRT 3 both games probably only have 20-50 cars total period. Within each game like I know DiRT 3 has to only have like maybe 35 cars max, but crap load of livery edits for each one. Still they knew those parts of the game didn't matter now I'm not advocating only having like 5 cars, but still they put the resources spread across the every area.

Edit to say I was wrong it has 63 cars total and 8 tracks with just a bunch of different layouts.

DiRT Rally is probably the same, and both are fun as hell right now each time I play. I guess it has to do with the danger aspect in regards to damage, and completely running off the race track in certain areas.

I think you refer the "standard-to-premium" overhaul, because those cars have their own fans. Not my words, Kaz's words
Can you show us where Kaz said "standard to premium" overhaul?

I never said that, I said he said every car has it's own fan, not that that means a "standard-to-premium" overhaul
You put "standard-to-premium" in quotes and said those were, "not [your] words, Kaz's words":odd:

I was talking about "every car has it's own fan", that were Kaz's words. I wasn't talking about the "standard-to-premium" quote.
