2016 Pirelli Spanish Grand Prix

I never thought I would find myself missing and enjoying the Austrian anthem.

Never thought id see that youngest winner be taken from Vettel.. Amazing
I think people should already stop with those records. It's as easy as never before to break those records. The young guns get better prepared for F1 with each year, how did that look ten years ago? You get more races a season, meaning you can easier beat the "most wins in a season" record. You get more points for a victory than you did X years ago, together with more races it's easier to break the most points record. And so on and on.

Unbelievable race by the lad, he was under pressure from Kimi for so long and lap after lap he nailed it. Vettel will probably feel a bit robbed of the victory, glad to see Ricciardo didn't drop anymore points after the late puncture.

What is with the RBR engines, they are renault yet they dont suck
They are a year old and have been maintained by Red Bull themselves since Barcelona.

Masterful last stint from Max, making those tires last well past their sell-by date.

He's shown us in previous races that he can attack, but this was a great defense... adjusting his style to go easier on the tires, and out-lasting Kimi, one of the best drivers on the grid for looking after tires... who just happened to be in a faster car.

Most impressive is how unflappable he seemed out there.

This kid has quite a future ahead of him. Well-deserved win, and an amazing bit of driving there.

Not taking away from his effort but you could have had Aryton Senna in that Ferrari and the result would have been the same. These cars cannot pass each other if they are close.

If Verstappen podiums in the US do they give him non alcoholic champagne?

If that is true how many bottles of the stuff does the F1 body carry of the non alcoholic stuff just on the odd chance a driver under the drinking age gets on to the podium?

Can then not fly over a box of Dutch soil - make Max stand on it for the podium so he can spray the champagne in Austin?

If he's part of the "F1 Family" maybe :

Red Bull gave Max wings and he flew. Surprising result!

I will have to agree that passing opportunities here are hard to come by. Partially explains why the Mercedes duo were aggressive with their maneuvers. Whoever held the lead after the first lap would win.

Easy call for me for biggest loser of this race; Kvyat. Hamilton's already a champ. Rosberg may get one this year. To be essentially demoted and watch your replacement win first time out, however, I could only imagine being soul crushing. That could've been him. He could've redeemed himself and turn everything around. Instead, his racing career may be headed in the complete opposite direction.
