Mac KIt looks like Speed isn't showing that documentary anymore... Typical.
Two Guys Garage actually... not like that is any better..
It's amazing how many times those guys can explain how to add a new exhaust to a truck... Lift kits make frequent appearances too...
Rum Bum R8, Rum Bum R8, and Rum Bum R8.
RX8 FLAMES!!! Yes yes FLAMES!!!
Mac KI was thinking that too... anyways turns out Speed is showing that Daytona 24 tonight at 9 Eastern, in about an hour or so, I'll be tuning in
WilburTime to start packing for Daytona!
The tires look awkwardly small.
Mac KMe= jealous.
WilburI do have a spare ticket for GA.
I'll try my best. Hopefully, it will still be running at night when I'll be in the infield. That will make it better.
WilburWell I be there as well. The easist way to know who I am is I either will have 1 of 2 things on. A blue/silver beanie that looks like the RedBull helmets or a black CollegeComplete/6 hat on. Feel free to stop me and say hey (Will is the name), and don't be scared I'm a big guy but gentle.
We also are camping in turn 1 in yellow section.
I might see you. I'm staying in a hotel, but I'll be at the track the whole time. I'll probably be wearing a white Titleist hat and brIght blue NIke shoes. Feel free to stop me if you happen to notice me. I'll be with my dad more than likely.
Atleast we agree on shoes! My old man will be with me too but I don't know how often we will be together.
One thing I'm curious about since I have never been. What kind of stuff do they sell? I really want to pick up a shirt, hopefully a poster of some sort (I prefer the ones that list all the teams) and diecast.
The Sahlens team will be selling hot dog hats for $10 There is a whole area of the infield blocked off for vendors that sell pins, die casts, shirts, etc. Heck, Nissan had a tent there with GT5 and DFGT's hooked up. There are a lot of car companies there with cars. I sat in a ZL-1 Camaro last year. Trust me, there are a ton of die cast there. Slot cars are another big sell at the Rolex 24. Usually the autograph session is where most of the posters are given out. I might go and get some GT autographs especially where there aren't a lot of people.
I need me a hot dog hat..
It sounds like I need to get with you then! I am hoping to find some 1/64 DP or GT cars. I really hope I don't blow too much money there.
Now what is this hotdog hat you speak of? I have to get one of them now just for the sheer fun of it!
There will be plenty sold at all the other races I'm sure especially the Sahlens 6 @ The Glen.
I haven't really looked too close at the die cast trailers in the last 2 years or so just because I'm sooooo interested in the garages and teams. I don't remember how many 1/64 were there or if any were DP or GT cars.
The Hot Dog hat is a sacred piece of headware that's given out by the Sahlens team. They also have a superhero on their team. He goes by the name of "Hot Dog Boy" (I'm not joking)
Well now I know why after some quick research. I had no idea they were really in the Hot Dog business, I love Hot Dogs and almost a reason to pull for them. You always go to have stuff to bring home from races but I'm with you as I will be in the garages alot too (mostly during the night as I love night racing).

On my old phone, I took probably 20 pics of the #74 ORYX racing Audi R8 last year in the garage at night. Sadly, before I could transfer them online, my old phone decided to break.
