The 90 is a beauty! I love when teams don't overly use black or white for base colors, and most NASCAR teams seem to it seems.

Is the team sharing a shop with an NASCAR/ARCA team? Noticed a car in the background.

They do if I'm not mistaken. I think they rent their shop space out. Skip Bennet used their shop a few years ago to repair their car.

Seems that way... I may be going to watch some practice tomorrow and look arround so I'll post up some pics if I do go!

Save me a seat! Just kidding, I will be down very early Friday morning to just hang out doing who knows what before I can actually enter on Saturday at 6 am.

I'm pretty nervous as never been to this race to just take it all in, I don't forseeing much sleep over the weekend. Atleast coming down a day early I can get good night's sleep instead of driving all night!

Be safe and have fun! I'm ready to go now but got too much crap to do before I go. First is rewire my plug for lights, then pack and pick up the camper, then sleep and I'm sure something else between all that.

Thanks. Who knows, we might see each other on Saturday night.

Is there a way to view the Continental race tomorrow without having SPEED2?
71 cars on track will make an exciting race.
These are great races to begin with.

I think the only way is to view the live timing (Grand-Am home page).
I was hoping for MRN coverage but the race is not listed in the schedule.
Replay is Feb 2nd at 4:00 ET on SPEED.
Anyone else know any other media?

Ganassi 1-2 in DP qualifying. Orbit wins the pole in gt. Magnus second.

A BMW 1,2,3 and a Porsche 1,2,3.

Some races are put right onto Grand-Am's website post-event, on Grand-Am TV. And, Mac, I'm Canadian, you know it works for you, 'cuz it works for me.

Yep the Bmw engine is overpowered from the looks of it. Ford lost 300 rpm Bmw gained 200. That's not even close to being fair. Last year ford wasn't that much better than Bmw. Certainly not 500 rpm better.

And Montoya/Rojas prove how strong the build quality on Riley chassis is. I mean, especially with Pruett driving.

Pruett ran a 1.40.5 as the pole time. The Fords were off. One vette did crack the top 5.

I smell Ford leaving. Rage quit on a massive scale coming.

It's not the drop in ford, but the boost of the Bmw that's making the difference. The 200 rpm boost is right in the wheelhouse of the Bmw engines power band.

It doesn't matter, though. Grand-Am helped BMW more than necessary, which hurts Ford and Chevy.

Yes. Bmw is a half second quicker than ford or Chevy with the exception of the gentleman driver 43 and 50 cars. Of course, the 42 chassis is proven fast at Daytona. According to Ryan dalziel, the 42 car is the 8 car that won the pole last year.

How is it that Grand Am's performance adjustments always seem to heavily favor a particular manufacturer and never actually bring balance on the GT and DP classes, but yet ST and GS seem to do fine??
