Please stop with the capitial k my whole name is lower case like yours twisted :sly:.

Seriously guys, these round specific threads are not for general discussion, that's exactly what the main thread is for.
These are originally intended solely for qualifying times, updates, etc.

Even something as basic as current lap times, setups, etc, can all go to the main thread.
Everything is getting scattered this way, which is no help to anyone.

With a bit o' practice here I think I can get a top 3 result :D

Stretch, you should do like me and switch to GT300. I think there is where the action will be, many drivers having a good pace. And at the slower speed, the racing will be closer and more intense. And Tony isn't there, so you actually might win a race.

Tony isn't in GT300, but you are. You were really quick on the 500s, I believe it was at Indy. So either way, I am screwed and so is Stretch. Oh and dont forget Moleman and CSL! They will be tough as well. There might be others as well. :scared:

You guys all do realize to win the championship, you'll eventually have to face Tony, right?
No sense running scared. :sly:

Better to face him for just a day than the whole season. :scared: Either way, I'm going to lose this. Unless a miracle happens...

Just a question ?
How is the ballast system gonna work with pp's?
Or is it a pp reduction instead of weight?

That's 3 question actually :P

Going to be practising quite rigorously for each round, I know I won't be able to match Tony's speed, but with enough practice I reckon I can get close, and I won't give up until I am close to his pace. I wasn't far off in PURE, and I would hate for Tony to be alone for the whole race :sly: Going to have to concoct something special to stand any chance at all though :scared:

Practising tonight in PAL 1 btw, probably around 8-9, feel free to join.

Those NSX were doing 35s pretty good

The Widowmaker
It can go faster.... :D

Wow one question do all GT500 cars need ballast added to the cars?

Edit: im currently in a room with Scanny everyone welcome

LOL ... I wasn't serious about my comment about Tony.

But I think I raced Tony in about 40 championship races. I actually won against him once, but then I had the mighty Takata '03 at 607PP against Tony's Lexus at 615PP, and the Takata is a hell of a car, much better than the Lexus. So the stats is about 39-1 in Tony's favor.

I'm looking forward to race Moleman, CSL, etc. Fast guys for sure, but Tony is just on another planet.

Btw the first racing league I joined as a sim racing rookie about a year ago called IRT. Not on Tony was there but, GTP_Rutter, IRT_Killa, GTP_Timeattack, Knilch, (I might have forgotten one or two of the ailien). For you don't know them they are all more or less on Tony's level. Talk about humiliation.

Those were the times.. I would add the original Niss (IRT_NissmanR32) and Luckaffe, great drivers too. It might have been a little tough for you then however, i think you have grown to be on par with all these guys and you're certainly the man to beat @PAL GT300.

There you go, i just painted a nice bullseye on your RX7's back:lol:

Timeattack is super quick as well, raced with him on Toyota 86 Spec Series. I actually beat him in one race. :D There is also Aderrrm, the WSGTC S2 Champion. For me, TA, Aderrm and Tony are probably the 3 quickest GT5 players I have ever faced. There are others as well, such as Niss, R1600Turbo, and so on... I may be losing races racing with these guys, but I know I am learning. I have improved so much ever since I decided to face the fast guys and not the slower ones. I may not win, but I get faster. 👍

Making this thread take that little + to mark it in racing series forum and saying I may jump in later for some practice :)

Yo can sign up, ya know. ;)
You should too, we'd love to have you.

Litchi,
I sent you a pm for my sign up for the GT300 Class. I would like to join the NTSC so I could drive the RE AMEMIYA Asparadrink RX-7 2006.

Posts like these should go in the main thread ;) But welcome anyway 👍

Off topic a bit (aren't I a hypocrite), but decided to christen my Denso and give it a name. Which sounds best: Smouldering Sally or Red Robin? :sly:

Speaking of posts for the main thread........

Glad I'm not updating qualifying sheets, and as long as these threads stay cluttered with main thread talk, I won't be. Making a lot of work that isn't needed with all these non race-specific talks.
Not you specifically Biffy, most everyone.

Yeah sorry, it was partly a joke, read it over now and it doesn't quite come across as one :ill: But yeah, I agree with you, most of the posts in this thread should be in the main thread, including the post I made earlier.

Yep, the issue isn't wanting to complain about something, it's about keeping important information in the right place, so it doesn't go unnoticed, and eventually lost with the round, and to make it so someone updating the Q sheet doesn't have to dig through 9 🤬 pages to add times. 💡

It's cool though, I'll bitch incessantly until it stops.

Wait, the RX 7 is available for NTSC? NOOOO!! 🤬 this! :D Oh well... Damn it!

Fully broken in the Garayia, finishing college homework and I'll start practicing. Excited, havent driven a GT300 in months!

I think the 300's look a bit easy so I will stick the challenge in the 500's out.

Me and Tony can get some Souvla style 1, 2 finish this friday :D getting them points!
