Is that even an option? Doesn't matter. Anyone who has played Sport and has eyes can see the dithering in the sky boxes for themselves.
Yes, PS4 screenshots can be either PNG (lossless) or JPEG (lossy).

Thanks but again 5 minutes of playing sport anyone can see the dithering in the sky boxes.
Edit: On PS5 if you choose to save your photos in HDR you can't choose the format.

What else will be “Powered by PS5(Behind the scenes)?”. Last week, per the video:

Realism
- Haptic feedback, ray tracing in Scapes and 4K and HDR 60FPS.

I guess this week we‘ll get realism behind the scenes in regards to AI, environments and physics. :sly:

Next week will probably be seemless navigation of the UI, ease of entering exiting private Lobby & Sport Mode. ;)

I was thinking here, would it make sense to have a Behind the Scenes video dedicated to nostalgia? I mean, they're going heavy on it for GT7, it's one of the main selling points of the game actually.

Could be. We got a behind the scenes tracks and it wasn’t about what tracks we’re getting. It was a couple seconds about the detail of the track surface and what may happen with weather conditions. The rest was him talking about Nurburgring.
Kaz would translate your Post as, “I personally feel that we’ve finally achieved a level of realism that’s tangible. It’s like a finger pointing away to the moon. Don’t concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory. I like cake.”

Sounds like something Joe Biden would say.

Pretty bold move to release a game with a bunch of content missing, and then show it off as new content in the next game. Will gt7 have any tracks that are new to the franchise?
TBF, Daytona might've been excluded from GT Sport due to licensing issues. That theory makes the most sense to me, as we were given a bunch of fictional oval tracks in GT Sport, seemingly to try and make up for the loss.

Never seen this chicane around the FL driven in a race or any other game.
It's the Nascar chicane from 2020. Really bad.

I hope we don't have to race with the Nascar chicane. What a garbage addition to a great track.

This would be confusing cause why would there be licensing issues in one game? But honestly why it was excluded isn’t important to me. I just dislike that one of the biggest selling points of gt7 is content that was missing from the last game but was in previous games.

Licensing is a very complex (and boring) legal process which is ever changing. Daytona is a pretty damn famous track, so it wouldn't surprise me if around GT Sport's development, something got in the way of them adding Daytona back in.
It's all theorising on my part though, we'll likely never know the truth as to why it was excluded from Sport. It just seems to be the most likely situation, given the slew of fictional ovals that were included in Sport.

As for your view on GT7, that's a valid opinion and I don't hold that against you.

It's not the exact same content though. All the returning tracks have been rendered at a higher quality and as far as career mode goes Sport was obviously an attempt to take the series in a different direction so to say it was missing that feature is missing the point of the game which was to focus on a great online system which even its detractors have to admit was a success.

It nearly happened with Spa in GT Sport due to the licensing fee so it could've been a similar circumstance.

Was Daytona ever supposed to be in GTS? It was modeled for GT5 initially back in at least 2010 if not earlier, I’m not at all surprised it didn’t make it to GTS like a number of tracks didn’t. Silverstone, TRM, Indy, Ascari, and if you consider what had to wait to be remodeled and added post launch there’s Monza, Spa, Le Mans, Tsukuba, Laguna Seca, RBR, and Fuji - I can see how Daytona didn’t make the cut. Not everything carries over game to game, especially if the model is old.

At this point, any news is a positive as we're seriously right in the "we could technically still delay this" window. I know social media guys don't have the inside track (no pun intended) but every time I see '4th March' stated by an official channel it's a good thing!

Not really the kind of track I'd have too much interest in but more = better as far as tracks are concerned. As far as US tracks go, I'd have loved Sebring or CoTA.

With Daytona, I'm looking forward to some classic Stock Car racing . The Livery Editor will be put to good use...this time. :)

Everyone missed my point by a mile. Why tracks were missing from GTS is irrelevant to me. I’m more concerned with the idea that a game developer can take something like a track, remove it from one game in their franchise, and then add it back in the next and treat it as new content.

We’re 2 months away from launch, and I’ve barely seen anything that was new to the franchise. That’s my concern.

Instantaneous loading is new to the franchise and a godsend. There will be a lot more content to come but their focus is on luring people in with nostalgia. Works for Hollywood so why not?

Well, the track IS new. For the first time ever, it'll be in GT7. ;)

Blue Moon Bay, BB Raceway, Route X and the boring Northen Isle
Northern Isle with a full field of Super Formula cars is W I L D.

BB Raceway I wouldn't call an oval. It's a high speed short circuit with banked corners in both directions.

Route X while being oval shaped is effectively one long straight too.

It's neither new content, which was the topic under discussion, nor universal as its new only to the Ps5 version.

What actually has been new content, specifically feature wise, to GT7? Because following this game from afar, I sure haven't seen anything that is truly altering and is simply Polyphony adding things to the game from the start instead of adding it piecemeal like they did with Sport.
