Hey Oni, just to make it official, I will be in for the hole thing 
BTW, great few races last night after the qualifier....Fuji was great and loved the battle at Indy! Sorry for the little bumps too, I blame on the 4 holidays weeks away from PS3! lol

Maggotronz you have been given a full time drive.

Also our first test race will be on the 1st of October.
This will be a race around Fuji Speedway F in the S8 cars. I will notify which tier you belong to shortly so you can purchase and setup your car. Just a warning as the tiers have been shaken up due to the new talent that has joined us. Full details regarding the test race on the 1st will be up later on.

I've just got a few questions re: The photo comp - what to do.
The popularity of the photo comp has sort of wavered. Some weeks there's been a lot of interest, 5 or 6 guys have put pictures up as entries. Which is great, but on other weeks it's been very quiet, difficult to even get one picture up. Plus the amount of votes has been low on some weeks also.
I know how it is though, trying to find the time to go into GT5 and snap pictures. I made all the rounds for the last half of the Cit GT series, I saved the replay at the end of each race, thinking that I'd be grabbing photos - all keen 👍. But only found the time to go in and grab pictures once
. So yeah, I know how it is.
Perhaps the whole idea of a weekly photo comp is too ambitious? I think that's what the problem is, so we need to work out some other way to have a different type of photo comp.
It's great when we get pictures posted from each week's races, we want to keep seeing photos. Some of you guys have even done up video packages, which I know takes a load of time to do.
An answer that I can think of, is that we have a photo comp that is a 'series long photo comp'. So it's not a week to week thing, but it runs for the whole series, the pictures are built up over the course of the series and then at the end there's a vote and a winner is called.
That might work.
So sorry to be a bit of a downer, but I'm really just after some feedback guys.

On to race related business. I am thinking of moving the series from Monday nights to tuesday nights instead as this might accommodate more drivers.
I'd like a show of hands from everyone involved in the series on which day they would prefer. At the end of the day i have no problems running it on Mondays and can continue to do this but i know of a few drivers that would like to join but cannot commit to Mondays. So feedback on this would be great all.

Mic, I like that idea, I am one of those people, I started off for the first week or 2 keen as to jump on grab some shots and upload them, then it sort of slipped away or I was busy, so having a series long thing means I can get 1 or 2 shots in for the comp but not have to try and fit it in when I actually dont have time. So I am all for that idea 👍
Oni, Im free to do Mondays or Tuesdays, but even I would perhaps prefer Tuesdays, you have just turned the world upside down btw, but yeah, Tuesdays could work.

Sorry I would also prefer to stick with Monday night. But Wednesday night is also an option for me.
As for the photo comp: I had all intention to take photos but sadly did not find the time. If its a longer comp then I have more chance of submitting that perfect shot.

Mic - just wanted to say i think you've been doing a great job with the photo comp - it adds an important extra element and interest to this forum and ultimately the series. Thinking your idea around a series comp could work and take the pressure of the weekly posts. I'd say toward the end everyone would need to nominate their final entry from the bank of shots submitted over the course of the series etc. 👍
All - in terms of the switch to a potential alternative night - the idea as Oni said behind this is to see (if by changing to a Wednesday for example) it makes it easier for everyone to fit it in with daily life pressures and commitments. To get maximum value our of the Battle of the Tiers it would be great (but not essential) if we could get a 15-driver-turn-out each week.

Cheers for the feedback so far guys. It does seem a shame to drop the weekly comp, but yeah it's just not feasible.
I did that thing a while back where I changed the way that the theme gets chosen (by storing the winner's choice for a week) so that the theme was known longer, the entire week instead of just a few days. I hoped that would breathe more life in to the photo comp but it didn't bring any improvement.
The last photo comp round, 2 pictures were entered, and hey, only one person 1 voted. On the bright side there was no risk of a tie I 'spose.
I'll still leave the discussion open as there's still time to go before the new series Rd1.

First of i should announce which tiers you all belong too. So without further a due see below.
Now for the test race details.

REMINDER
As per the new qualifying setup. All drivers participating in the test race need to submit their qualifying tyre to me and jasr73 (via PSN or GTP) 1 day before the race (Sunday night at the latest).Once you have submitted your tyre choice you CANNOT change it. So make sure your 100% on your selection before sending me the PM via PSN or GTP.
