TXAA looks much worse in videos than in live gameplay.

The AI cars are also "just" using 60K on PC. Only the player car (at close distance) is using the 250K poly model.

You are right the blur is barely noticeable except the hideous helmet cam which can be turned off . About car models though, it is little disappointing.

Might just be me but buying a console means I sacrifice the ideals of 'perfect' graphics.
ESPECIALLY when we are talking about a game that runs at 60FPS. If a game is 60fps I couldn't give a toss if there is a little bit of motion blur.

Playability>Fidelity.

Its a nightmare for me in the UK. Its released on the 8th and I'm at work all day and my girlfriend is meeting me up town after work as its her birthday, that writes off Friday. Then Saturday we are having a party and there will no doubt be tons of preparation and lots of guilt tripping if I try and go buy PCars and play it!! That leaves Sunday with a large hangover until I get a proper chance to give this game a go. 💡 I might have to trigger a relationship break up prior to the 8th so I can play this all weekend and then apologise with some flowers on Monday for being a tit hmm!!
I feel you, bro. I'm working the thurs, fri & sat and the Sunday will be spent entertaining kids at my daughter's birthday party. literally sucks. I was thinking of getting the wheel out so 'everyone' could play it during the party. kids get half a lap, daddy gets 5-10. everybody happy :P

We badly need an option to turn it off, Pause any Team VVV vids while cars are cornering and they are all doubled! Looks awful. The thing is his Xbone vids dont do it...why is that?
and yet when he pauses to use the replay mode there was no object blur. at least that's a good thing.

Damm you console people are worse than a forum of pc elitist analysing a new game.

People in internet behave like that

I personally think it is great Pcars is coming to console. Although I had rather prefer AC but Pcars is great content wise and adds racing element to game. GT7 will have better gfx for sure but it will be a more of a driving game like how GT has always been :embarrassed:

I find it amazing that with the excellent graphics (It amazes me how some people are bashing them on PS4 when there has been nothing comparable to them) and 60fps that they are able to have such large fields that have fantastic AI. You can't say this about any other racing game. I probably won't even notice the ghosting when racing because I will be focused on, you know, RACING, not a tiny flaw...

For reference, I paid (In 2012) £500 In total for my PC (About the same as a PS4, I think) and it runs at 30FPS average with rFactor maxed out. GTR2 runs at 30-45FPS maxed out. I get 30FPS on Burnout Paradise on default settings. I get 20FPS on GTAIV on lowest. 60FPS on ETS2 on lowest, 30FPS on medium. So for the price of a PS4 I got a PC that was worse than a PS3. But either way, for the money, a console is far more worth it.
Perhaps in hindsight you should have invested more into a PC?

Yes, it seems to occur when we pause a replay on YouTube, but when Alan at Team VVV paused during replays there was no hint of this double vision blur whatsoever. So I reckon those of us who like to pause the replay when we have the game will have nothing to worry about.

It does suck...bad!! I know what your saying as I was thinking the same thing about having my mates play it Saturday night at our party. But then again I don't want my first impressions of the game to be endless amounts of crashing all over the place (making it look like an arcade game) while beer gets chucked all over my wheel. Theses first world problems we have to contend with hey!

No, motion blur is always enabled on consoles :(:

Would be ok if the motion blur were good but on PS4 everything we've seen has this horrible ghosting :grumpy::

Again, as far as I understood, the ghosting is caused by the AA, it has nothing to do with the motion blur.

We can't disable the motion blur on console, because it affects the fps, something that, IIRC, is not allowed on consoles.

There are games on PS360 with a V-Sync toggle.

I can't believe there isn't a reasonable AA solution without introducing this ghosting.

Ghosting. Ghosting ghosting ghosting ghosting ghosting.

When I'm dead Ima show you moaners real ghosting and haunt you while you sleep

Is it really that much of a problem? Really?
