Hey Vol,
I'm new to tuning and did a bunch of testing. I have a major concern regarding the regulations and fair play. I know we are all honest sporting gentlemen, but I think the rules need to be looked at.
I think you should allow all parts to be added except ECU, turbo upgrades, and engine upgrades. Those 3 types can be easily verified by looking at the HUD redline and turbo boost level on the turbo gauge.. All intake and exhaust should be allowed as they are impossible to check and make a huge difference in lap times at same HP and pp because of the big increase in bottom end torque.
Well, the day of the first race is a bit late. Besides, cheating requires a conspiracy, since the tuner and both drivers (which may just be two people) have to decide to cheat together.
And what does cheating get you? If you need to win that badly, then you aren't the kind of person we are looking for.
And to repeat, Kaz is a dick. He could've very easily put this sort of stuff in the game. He didn't. To him, the point behind this game is to make the cars look as pretty as possible. He doesn't care at all about actual racing. He is such a complete idiot. I have to image he is completely talentless as a driver, too, and only get to race professionally because he has so much money others ignore is complete incompetence.
I am willing to put a HP limit on the room, but I can only limit it to 285 or 295. The car has 287 HP. It makes sense, then, to set it to 285 and force everyone to limit slightly. Mind you, they can still bolt on lots of parts and limit it lots more. See the above, Kaz is a dick.
Aside from that, we will be running 14 laps. And I'm concerned because that doesn't produce the tire wear I was hoping. So I think we will run different tires next seasons so tire wear is a bit more of an issue.
p.s. Yes, you can adjust aero, suspension, gearing, and if you want to install the LSD, that can be adjusted as well. You can adjust brake balance, and if you get success ballast, you may move it forward or backward.
