No, no, no, no, NO! The 2008-2011 suntrust dallara with its weird nose looked best lol, but I'd hate to see grand am go down the same path, the thing you have to remember is the current GT class is almost the same as world GT3 championship, just modified a little to allow the mazda's, camaro's etc,

My guess would be that all the ALMS teams will have to buy or build a DP chassis, otherwise all the effort the current DP teams have put in to be a premiere class would be pissed off, just to have LiMP car come into the picture

Yea, I'm wondering if the DP cars will get a boost and/or more downforce... And DP/LMP mixed class battle would be excellent!

Oh lawd... Another Mazda.....

No. It handles weirdly, but, doesn't aero push. The three MR cars are @ 1:16s at Cape Ring South, on hards. The Ferrari was 0.03 faster than the Evora. Audi was third, but the tune still needs A LOT of help. The Camaro & Mazda are high 1:17s at best.

We for sure won't be using hards.

But, I find, this season, that the Mazda has a worse disadvantage on mediums. I'm trying to go about this, like I did, ITCC season 1, without listening to the complaints about how it's not even.

I mean, Storm's Viper would probably be faster on mediums, than my Mazda. If I can figure out the weight & horsepower, to balance the cars perfectly, I'll be happy. But, you know me. ITCC had 5 preseason races, all trying to balance specs.

Uhm, if ghs is reserving his seat, are we not going for a draft system? I think it only fair, even if it does negate a chance for LLama reserved Evoras.

We are going for the draft system. I ment for new drivers to the series.

 Yeah, new drivers can definitely say that they're interested. Maybe we should still see who's going where?

I'm staying in GT. I can't keep up in the DP cars. I'm 7 seconds per lap slower than Cnd at Le Mans. :(

And if polar allows it I want to be Ant's teammate.

We're not discussing it, yet, but, if no one takes the spot in the draft...

Draft rules:

  1. Championship leaders decide first
  2. Those who switch classes from GT to DP lose their selection order (decide last)
  3. New guys have to run GT (?)

So, if Anthony decides to use the Nissan, and no one (not shin, polar, or cnd) else does, until you, you've got your wish.

I call championship rigging. I call F1 tactics. I call "gtfo." This is Rolex. We don't take part in such worthless, cheating manners of balancing the championship. We don't crash Hamilton, Alonso and Grosjean in the first corner "because it'd be fun."

All of the F1 guys ranting about how it made the championship closer, when Grosjean crashed Hamilton and Alonso. That seems like rigging the championship for views. We don't do that, in the Rolex series. If one of you is faster, be faster.

I was suggesting that Ant and I race the 🤬 out of each other next season and end up with a 1988 season. AKA utter dominance, yet massive rivalry.

Still going on about that? Pfft.

It's all about what's happening now in the seemingly overpowered car and the definitely underrated driver.

 But, that doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to talk about last season, while I was the newest of the new guys. Remember THAT? I joined after all of your preseason stuff, had a horrible, horrible, horrible race at Daytona, and almost p'd my pants, and then... Indy & so forth.

Keys to being fast in Rolex: being underrated...(?) and picking a car with downforce.

"Seemingly" overpowered car - Viper

"Definitely underrated" driver - Storm

Shameless self plugs. :sly:
