TT 39: 650PP British TT @ Grand Valley / 550PP @ Tsukuba Circuit

He's also using my car now, lol. Almost the whole top 10 is using it now. I'm using my GTP_CargoRat account now so I can just keep it online for everyone.

hey KB! there should be a car owner-tuner team trophy-award in these tt's!
you would certainly get it, bravo man!!

my car wont go faster than 55:6xx,(currently P45) maybe a 55:5xx is possible, i have tried almost everything, at some parts of the track im a tad faster than Yinatos ghost, but cant go fast enough on the straights, acceleration is not that good. maybe i could borrow yours if there are any fr slots left?

i also saw saidur's lap, no a/s, impressive control, sliding all over the place and still super fast, well done!!

Rather than retort like a smartass, why don't you try your best in the Countach LP400 '74 model until you do a perfect lap & compare your time to mine & post that in your reply?!

Sunset, I'm pretty sure you're reading him the wrong way. This is pretty a friendly forum.

I also didn't use the 2J. I used the RS200 at about 500PP and got a 1:06.458 Pretty happy for just 2 laps.

Well done! :) I just beat my own record too with a 1:06.665. The lap was so good i just had to save it!

I just tried the Tsujuba with the Lotus Elan, but with the transmission set to a minimum 180 it still wasn't reaching 5th gear & was at least 8 seconds too slow.

So i tried the next 1 up, the Lotus Elise Type 72 & it was quite a challenge! At 1st i was 4 seconds slow, then it was only 0.8 secs.
10 or so laps later, (some invalidated) i got within 0.167 s of gold with a slight slip at the last corner in what was otherwise a perfect lap.

On my 19th lap i nailed it with 1:10.149. PP was 404. :)

lol, no trophy needed my friend. Just glad I am able to help out, thats all. Many people have helped me out along the way so its just nice to be able to give back in some way. Go ahead and send me a fr (cargorat323) if you wanna try out the car. Thanks again for the kind words. Peace.

I am going to start running the crap out of my 2J so I can get it to around the same miles as yours. That way all the burden doesn't fall on you my friend. That will give everyone another option when you need yours. And thanks again.

I really enjoyed doing a few laps of GV reverse, especially with the better tyre restrictions. I used my Jag XKR at 580pp, but got gold on first lap tip-toeing on cold tyres and trying to work out the reverse course.

Did a few more laps for a reasonable 1:05ish. Is it because Im not familiar with it or does GV backwards seem more technical?

Tsukuba, used tuned M3 for 1:04, then High End G37 for a .5 gain. I really like that car for some reason, loads of grip.

Has anyone tried the Tsukuba TT with GT500 /GT300 cars, I did 1:02.416 with UCD Toyota Woodone Supra '02 and no aids at all including no brake assist, BB 9/7, it has 340hp, 1100kg.
Another go with Honda Arta NSX '00, 550pp, no aids, no brake assist, same BB, 1:00.991 in 2nd lap 363hp, 1150 kg., there are some wasted time with slides on corner exits, a better run would be less than a minute, 58 or 59 seconds.

I've spent my time this TT focused on Grand Valley Reverse. Currently right about 600 (nothing to brag about but it's a personal best for me) I loaded the number 1's replay and can't understand his trans settings... seems to me like he has it geared much lower than all the tunes I've played with and although I know he's short shifting to keep traction under control, I still am at a loss to create anything that seems to be near the setup.

Anybody want to weigh in? BTW, I've looked at a bunch of different tunes for the F1 and it seems to me that Paraino's tune suits me best.

Just went on to get my log in bonus ;) and check out the laps. Amo was using active steering on the Tsukuba TT which leaves me still the fastest without.

Haven't attempted this TT since setting my fastest time, if he starts doing .3XX or less then my chances of going for number 1 will not look likely. There might be some time in the tuning though regarding ballast for more BHP.

any chance you could send me your full setup for this aweful car..I am getting nowhere with it..tried tweaking all sorts and just getting worse....cheers

Hello my friends,

Here's my setup used on the 2J Race Car '70, I think it is possile to go with 0'54'6xx a ''perfect'' lap, I would like to thank ''cargorat323'' for the loan of his car, its configuration m 'has served basis, thank you to him.

How on earth did you get the gears to those numbers..i can only get them by turning th max speed down below 160..only then can I adjust them to the stated ratios..but i dont get any where near 240 mph max, more like 150 tops...what am I doing wrong....:ouch:

240 is kph, not mph... 143mph IIRC... set this, then the other settings.

Works for me and a great tune 👍

I gave the Cizeta V16T a couple of laps at Tsukuba TT, bone stock, oil change, a nice wheels, 597 hp, 1640 kg, 549pp, managed a time of 1:05.582, not bad ... really twitchy without any assist, no brake assist of course, the real life car have nothing, not even ABS. This car is so unique in handling :)

Anyone have a 2J they can put on share that has some miles on it?
I'm P64 or P65 right now and I can't get my HP/weight ratio the same as Yinato.
Thanks to anyone that can help, and thank Yinato for the tune (I did set the rear spring rate to 14.0, just maked the car feel better to me).

Hey guys, I haven't posted in a TT thread for a while due to loss of game save data. I was wondering if I could borrow some cars just to get a chance at them till I earn the millions to have my own again. I'm rarely a top 250 finisher but would be nice to get back into it :)

You lost everything??

PR1VATEJ0KER
How much did you lose :embarrassed:

Everything, including my PSN, and stealth car codes are out of date. So I've started from scratch basically.

EDIT: To expand, my HDD broke, so lost all save data for everything. And then I couldn't get my PSN back as unwittingly I'd used a .com address instead if my .org address when signing up, and I'd forgotten the password. So new account, new everything.

Shows the wisdom of backing up I guess. You live and learn at any rate.

Started doing the TT on my GTP_CargoRat account now so I could keep the car on share. Currently 71st on the boards with a time of 55.775. Still can pick up more time I believe.
