Or a gravel trap, if you're into old school racing. The reason they have even bigger run off areas is to make use of it if you make such mistakes. It's not the first time someone gains an advantage off-track with someone behind. I've seen it a lot before in recent years. Stop making a big fuss about this.

I was gonna comment on how people were going to begin comparing this to the Prost/Senna wars, suggesting that AMG Mercedes is giving Hameers the lesser car because he's not a german, bla bla bla. And now, the lap times of both Mercedes drops heavily! Unbelievable!

Maybe the Merc engine has an achiles heel?

The penalty is cumulative, Nico's had his second warning I believe. Which is irritating as I've found myself to momentarily be a Hamilton fan.
