He isn't obliged to, however if Hamilton didn't move and Nico hit him it would look like Nico's fault??
It wasn't against regs what he did, however it won't do any good for team mate relationships, in the same way Bahrain didn't.

Precisely. Prudence would dictate giving space... but these guys know that their team-mate won't risk a collision... so they don't feel the need to tiptoe around it.

Still, if Nico wins, Lewis will probably feel pretty bothered about everything... but right now, the lack of angry radio communication from Lewis seems a good sign.

Massa catching Hamilton at a rate of 2.5 secs a lap!

Fox Sports commentators said that one of the Mercs got to the point that the display on the steering wheel was completely off!!!

Dat IT department...

Mercedes confirming to Nico that both cars have the same problem and it can't be fixed, they also warned him about Massa gaining on both Mercs at an alarming pace!

Massa's leading? Madness!

And I'm more than okay with it. But how long will that last?

Massa has gotten around Rosberg. That was a VERY slow stop.

No, the cars can't be changed from the pitlane, outbound telemetry only.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have the functionality to change settings however just don't use it in races because of regs. Because its all software for the ECU it would be very easy.

Secondly the same problem with both cars at exactly the same time, I can't think of any other explanations.

Seriously? No, they don't, the scrutineers really aren't that stupid ;)

Hamilton does a Rosberg cut!

Tyres touched and damage occurred. Bugger.

TERRIBLE Camera work. Into the hairpin cut away.

And Hamilton and Rosberg both have problems there.
