Ferrari FXX Super Lap

Been hit hard with the flu recently so i'm gonna give this tt a good dosage tomorrow before it ends. Going to be extremely difficult to snatch a podium so best i'm hoping for is 4th place.

Edit: Well i am now up to 4th place Had a great run through ascari for once but i think i lost a tiny bit on that last corner. It's hard trail braking that bend and keeping the car pointing where it should be.
I'll give it one last go tonight and maybe i'll grab 2nd place if i'm lucky.

Great lap with the STICK!, I followed your lead and turned on the steering assist last night , noticed the japanese guy is on full, certainly makes some kind of difference although I'm not sure how or what

Been running in 3D from the cockpit cam, makes pinpointing the braking points easier I think 👍

I tried running with strong AS but it's just too understeery for me, especially at the 1st chicane. You're just yanking the stick hard through most of the corners which i don't like. Credit to the Japanese guy getting 2nd place with that on.
I just recently got a 3D TV for nothing (not knocked off ), but it's in the living room so i'd have to set up the PS3 there to see what its like

Almost did it Mitch. Just +012 out. 1 lap i meseed up, i was almost 2 tenths up on my best but i put a wheel on the verge just before ascari corner. Was devo'd. I'm going to stay up until i can get 2nd place.

Well this has me well and truly beaten, I've had to resort to cheating and I'm still a second off gold!

I'm going to keep at it even though I'm not a huge fan of Monza, nor cars that want to kill me. The best advice I've seen was to avoid down shifting too soon and that does help. It's just such an all or nothing car this, lovely when you get a line right and nail it but the other 99% of the time, ouch

Me too. The clincher for me was ABS at 5, TCS 1. That allowed me to get through that first chicane just enough quicker to allow a 1:37.831. Using DS3 stick, aids on...Musta done 99 red laps haha

hmm, was neck and neck with @IMMORTALPILOT into ascari, about a tenth behind coming out of ascari, but I accidently put the car into 2'nd in the last corner I dont think I can beat him, but I should be able to improve to a 1.32.1 if I'm lucky...

Haha, well I did start this yesterday, but did'nt quite manage anything, got irritated and turned it off, started again about 2 hours ago, I'm taking a little break now and will give it a go until the end in about 30 min.

Haha, even if my name would suggest it, I don't feel like an alien. I just get lucky sometimes.

edit: and even if would have nailed a lap and get those 2 tents needed for 1'st place, I'm pretty sure @IMMORTALPILOT would counter by improving half a second just to make a point!

That was an absolutely perfect lap you put in up until that last corner mate so i would very much doubt Immortal would of replied after seeing him clock around 2k to get where he is now. I've had a couple of amazing runs myself but that damn ascari corner always got me

Managed to get 1:39.928 with all assists off. So close.

Takes a lot of practise and patience.

I stood up in my cockpit and nearly front kicked my tv, luckily my kid walked in as I was lifting my leg.

G27, aids off, abs 1. In the end, I raged and kept the bronze.
