The one in GT5 seems to be the top secret "S10-Blazer V6 Powered" model that has never before been seen.




Which is interesting because that engine recording is also shared with the ZR-1 RM, Camaro LM and Camaro RM even though the game explicitly states they all have V8 engines. Cylinder deactivation, maybe?

In GT5 like in forza 4 there are good and bad sound, but if you take enzo or a veyron, the sound is better

No it's not it is a digitalized sound, PD try to actually filter the sound and figure out how the car will sound as it runs off into the distance and other scenarios. They never seemed to have attempted to actually record the car they render.

If you look, it's a tuned veyron. I have seen videos after patch 2.02 and the veyron sound is more closer to the real life.

I want to start off saying I'm not trying to compare the games or anything. I only own GT5 currently, but as soon as I have some spare money, I'll be getting an XBOX and Forza 4. I just have a question. Why can't the cars in Forza 4 have different wheel offsets, the 787 being an example?

Does anyone know the answer, or is it a mystery?

Ya... GREAT "HD" graphics. I guess the card board cut-out interiors count as DLC right? Well, Forza doesn't have those so you win that battle.

Animated graphics? I might be mistaken but is there any video game out there doesn't have "animated" graphics? I really don't know how to respond to this argument... "Not trying to start a GT5 vs Forza fight..." but let me just compare and contrast the two from my biased point of view...

Simulation and realistic handling? I guess because that's what it says on the cover art right? I would put a months salary on the fact you have either 1- never touched Forza 4 or 2- played the demo at a buddy's house with a controller. You certainly do not own it.

(didn't say that to brag) I guess i word things wrong because it seems people think i am trying to totally hate on FORZA, which that is not what i am saying. And yes i have played FORZA and i do enjoy it... But i guess things get confused in writing... So before you guys call me out because you think i am being bias... How about you ask so you can get what i am saying, because some of you guys have misunderstood what i was saying. And GRAN-TURISMO has its many cars, simulation/realistic handling, HD graphics, sponsored events ect. But not trying to start a FORZA vs. GT fight. And one of the main factors about GT5 is that it wasn't even finished before it was pushed out to be released. Not the makers and developers fault, it is the market for the game. The way i see this game is sort of like a full game bata. And i yes i am very satisfied with with GT5 and the whole series. I just hope they keep doing what they are doing. I just have to add this... LONG LIVE THE REAL DRIVING SIMULATOR

...since it's fairly obvious a comment like that is precisely meant for ruffling feathers (and seriously bringing in to question your actual experience with FM4).

And one of the main factors about GT5 is that it wasn't even finished before it was pushed out to be released. Not the makers and developers fault, it is the market for the game.

I still don't understand how PD has so many people using this defence for them. Forza is a far more advanced Simulator compared to GT.

As has been said multiple times, GT doesn't even simulate tyre pressures or tyre size. How can anyone even claim it's a simulator? IMO it's nothing more than an arcade game that's been made hard.

It simply does not simulate enough for me to class it as a simulator.

Oh, and inb4 "GT doesn't need to simulate something because it just doesn't" and "but GT is more realistic than real life!"

Except you never intended it as your opinion because you outright said they were fact; I don't see how someone could confuse "In my opinion" with "it's a fact", and simply because you've edited your posts in an attempt to make any and all future quoting of that statement is irrelevant - simply because we can't see it, doesn't mean no one else can...

Ok dude... Well i edited my posts because i was being accused for something that i didn't word right, but if you want to try and say you know what i meant... And you can't read what i was saying about the way i wrote that earlier, and i was apologizing for the way i wrote it because it was making people think i was saying something, that wasn't what i meant or how i wanted to come off... Keep in mind everyone. Avoid the word "arcade". Pretty much all race sims are arcade games. Compare a race sim to a simulation that takes a server cluster to executed in short amount of time. But I can see it is to late. Its already registered in everyone's memory as a lackluster racing sim.
