No, I was on Racing Hards, that I am sure of, which is why I'm so disgusted with myself. I actually did some digging up, and found that Wardez did that lap on 40kg ballast (I think), so it is entirely possible to reach the 20's. That lap actually ended up as a 21.2. Anyway, my teammates have the same tune, so hopefully they will fare much better than I did.
 
In testing I ran 21.1 with both the GTR and SC430, so I reckon they can hit high 20's, but that's a pretty damn good lap.

I hit a 20.9 last season at Laguna on the SC430. Then Wardez took the pole from me by a tenth or so :grumpy:. Did a 21.2. However, I won the race :D The SC430 should dominate at Laguna. Don't know what car has advantage here in the GT300 class. Certainly aint gonna be me with that ballast :lol:
 
Didn't Eddie ride off into the distance, with the race in the bag when he DC'd on lap 40?? :P

Shhh don't want people to know that. They have to know I won it with everyone on track. He should have had better connection :lol:

This is the first driver I have qualified for Laguna. On lap 2 while watching, the rumble strip for and the turn itself (turn 6 ) wasnt visible because of a very poor camera angle. On lap 3 the turn was clearly visible. Even though I knew it was clean. I had to view the replay after.

Anyone else have a problem? Just be aware we may have to watch replays

Thanks Biff, Ill check it out. So far Im at 1:22.5 adjusting the old tune.

This is standard course of action. Live observation is absolutely never fully reliable due to ertain tracks' camera positions.

You did the right thing, very good.
 
I only ran a 1:27.3 so far Cicua but that was with a dieing car on a bad setup, with a driver who wants to burn Laguna Seca to the ground :sly:.
 
Yeah Doc I love Fuji so do good enough, hate Laguna so am as slow as you like :irked:.

Ill get working on a setup tonight, drove my old MR-S faster on a 26.8 (with all the setup work I got from S2 :lol)
 
Have tweaked the setup you sent me if you want me to send it and have a whirl?

Me to. I hate laguna, it's a track I really can't get on with, because I don't like it, I don't spend enough time practicing on it.
 
Yeah I dont see why not Doc it was a good base for this car imo :).
 
Gotten down to 26.0 with the 40KG ballast. A 25.9 is possible. I will qualify after my lunch in about 45 mins
 
CSL vs Aliens in NTSC is go again by the looks of it :D.
 
Id love to join but my idiot step dad has f:censored:ed with the wires or something as the router dies every 5mins or so :banghead:. (I reset it and turned it off for 10-15mins last night while they slept but it hasnt fixed it :irked:)

In 40-50mins ill try again but as a result I get 2-3 laps in then DCed meaning ive had 0 practice for everything!
