IDF are deliberately targeting UN bases, as per the UN!

"UNIFIL confirmed two peacekeepers were wounded when an Israeli tank fired at an observation tower at its headquarters in Naqoura, southern Lebanon.

Israeli “soldiers also fired on UN position (UNP) 1-31 in Ras Naqoura, hitting the entrance to the bunker where peacekeepers were sheltering, and damaging vehicles and a communications system”, it said in a statement, adding an Israeli “drone was observed flying inside the UN position up to the bunker entrance”.

On Wednesday, UNIFIL said Israeli soldiers “deliberately fired at” perimeter-monitoring cameras and disabled them.

“They also deliberately fired on UNP 1-32A, where regular Tripartite meetings were held before the conflict began, damaging lighting and a relay station,” it said. “Any deliberate attack on peacekeepers is a grave violation of international humanitarian law and of Security Council Resolution 1701.”"

They were told to evacuate their posts a week ago by the IDF

The last I checked the IDF doesn't have command authority over UN forces.
Yeah I know and UNFIL were meant to keep peace in Southern Lebanon. Which obviously has failed.

it’s not a surprise “attack” though

Not quite, but please do explain how that would make a deliberate IDF attack on UNFIL locations and troops justified, or give any mandate to the IDF to order them to withdraw.

And?

I am, to be honest, quite amazed that you appear to be justifying and attempting to legitimise the IDF deliberately attacking the UN.

You can be amazed as that’s not what I said,

IDF told them to evacuate their posts in the area and it wasn’t a surprise attack on them.

That has no bearing on what the UN peacekeepers do. Just because someone tells them that means they have to listen and obey? The Israeli Army doesn't have authority over UN forces. "Caught in the crossfire" isn't a valid excuse whether there was a 'warning' or not.

Caught in crossfire and deliberately targeting UN forces are two different things

You're excusing the inexcusable, the rest is semantics.

Once again, the IDF doesn't have the mandate to do that, and it would have been a surprise as the IDF shouldn't be deliberately targeting UNFIL forces, doing so is a war crime.

And the later is the reality based on the information available.

Once may be accidental, but three times isn't.

Wednesday saw the IDF take out monitoring cameras at the UNFIL HQ, Thursday saw a UNFIL observation tower at Naqoura directly hit, and Friday saw two explosions injure UNFIL troops at another observation tower.

It's also not as if they are hard to ID as UN locations.

...Israeli decapitation activities have clearly moved into a different era since the October 7 atrocity.

Intelligence “assets” — agents, traitors, devices, malware — are usually left to sit quietly until they can activate something significant. Israeli intelligence chiefs seem to have been prepared to cash in their healthy balance of intelligence assets this year to create an unrivalled picture of the movements of individuals in Hamas and Hezbollah.

It will be interesting to see how Lebanon moves on (and if it changes at all) after this war.

From source. Video is lack any context, even if we don't think its fake from HAMAS/PLO.
The IDF has been livestreaming their war crimes, and bragging about it on Facebook and Telegram, for over a year. We've seen them stealing or breaking civilians' belongings, wearing their underwear, playing with their childrens' toys. We've seen them blowing up their houses, their schools, their hospitals, and dancing in the rubble. We've seen them degrade and torture captives, and snipe at civilians running for their lives, all while fans on social media cheer it on.

Here's an IDF reservist celebrating the destruction of Gaza:

The UN just released a report on Israeli was crimes in Gaza, and plenty of the evidence came directly from IDF soldiers posting to social media.

We have names of over 1000 IDF soldiers whose crimes are documented with thousands of pieces of video, audio, forensic, and social media evidence.

And your argument is what? That a Palestinian couldn't possibly be a journalist?

That a Palestinian couldn't possibly be a journalist
There were journalists in Nazi Germany or USSR under Stalin? You either journalist or living in territory that under total control of Islamists that would behead you(or your relatives)if what you posting isn't antiIsrael enough.
The IDF has been livestreaming their war crimes
Like Ukrainians and Russians, I believe any modern army would do this just because everyone have smartphone and warcrimes are integral part of any conflict. Soldiers aren't smartest people in the world(somehow military service makes people even dumber than they typically are), especially after years of bloodbath and daily shellings. Doesn't change that this is out of context and posted by very questionable source.

Man, you a freaking piece of work.

You army committed warcrimes in every conflict it take part, none of those were defensive since 1945. Considering it was you voluntary choice and concept of corporate responsibility I have bad news for you.
that we weren’t smart

Ironically
He may have meant "unavoidable" instead of "integral".
Its, kinda, same thing if we talking about full scale conflicts. War is voluntary thing, if someone[leader] making his choice to participate, then he taking his responsibility for unavoidable warcrimes of his soldiers.

Honestly, I'm not even sure why he's not banned yet. He's straight up said my Jewish wife is a bad Jew for not supporting Israel and that I'm some how anti semetic, he posts lie after lie without backing anything up, he's probably on Putin's misinformation payroll, he trolls constantly, and he insults everyone he interacts. Nevermind he doesn't understand English well enough to have these conversations. There's having a difference of opinion and actually discussing things and then there's whatever he's attempting to do.

Now he's saying you're stupid and committed war crimes despite not knowing anything about you, or what you did in the military. For all he knows you fixed tanks or helicopter, were an armourer, or hell even a cook or a medic. To insinuate you personally committed war crimes because you're stupid is asinine.

Now you are claiming that I’m a war criminal. That I committed war crimes.
