If Biden holds Arizona, he only needs to win one of the following states: Nevada, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina. One of those states he's already winning.

Jesus titty-banging Christ.

What does he mean "claimed"? He "declared" it? Honestly, I have no clue what he's getting at other than to say that he thinks he's won those states (which he has not).

Speaking of MI, every article I'm reading about Antrim County is complete bullcrap. Manual recount of a physical record instead of the digital one, all because some asshat couldn't fathom his people voting blue. Also, it's definitely "this afternoon" and they haven't updated results yet so we'll see how they turn out. If there's any instance of alleged "fraud" in this election, it's this.

Edit: Trump leads by 4.3% in PA, 85% complete.

So as far as 538's "tipping point" thing goes, if AZ and NV are counted or projected before PA, which is likely (and Biden already leads so technically it's true anyway), does that mean that AZ or NV was effectively the tipping point that gave 270?

Georgia has a 54,500 vote gap with 97% reporting and Pennsylvania has a 266,000 vote gap with 87% reporting per AP. Pennsylvania might have a bit more room to switch, but Georgia will be close.

If you're famous you can do anything you like, just grab 'em by the pussy.

He simply cannot conceive of a scenario in which he loses. But all I can think of is this:

Nate Cohn of NYT reporting Georgia will likely be recounted, it's that close. He thinks Biden will be up by 2 points in Pennsylvania though & he thinks that's a conservative guess.

Yea, the election needle (which they kinda took off their main site) is still projecting a Biden win in Georgia (but not by much, it's almost exactly even odds to take GA). The remaining ballots must be mostly blue.

I really want to see multiple states go Biden from here. Nevada, Arizona (which is already presumed), Georgia, and PA. It'd be nice if all of those went Biden so that the results of any one state will not be sufficient. I think that's reasonably possible too.

I think it's extremely realistic. The problem we might run into is Trump completely losing his mind and:
1. Demanding a recount for all states that went blue.
2. Attempting to invalidate the entire election.
3. Refuse the result and sue the states and appeal to the SCOTUS.

North Carolina seems possible too.

Are the votes expected to lean democrat there?

I would assume the majority of the votes out there are mail-in, which would tend to be democrat votes.

NYT is reporting a 1.2% gap with only 94% reporting. The only dense areas even close to complete are Athens and Fulton County. Savannah, Augusta, Columbus, and the two counties next to Fulton are all below 90%, the latter of which are both over 80% blue. About 15,000 more will be gathered from Dougherty County alone which is where *googles the map* Albany is, Albany State University, a MillerCoors brewery, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, and absolutely nothing else. The only red counties below 90% complete have just a few thousand votes total.

Trump is being given a little better than 3:1 odds in NC. Earlier Biden supposedly had no chance, but the needle came back.

Edit:

Put another way, Trump's chances in NC are better than Biden's chances in GA.

Fair enough.

Oh look, The Soft Parade.

It's also home to the World's Largest Constitution, so there's a lot of clean up. Any time a county wanted to do something different than the other 66 counties, it would have to go in the Alabama state constitution. As you can imagine, there's a lot of duplication and overlap. Cleaning it up is a start...especially for a state that prides itself on so-called "smaller government".

Doug Jones had to run on a platform showing how he's worked with the President and gotten bi-partisan support. But hey, an ex-Auburn football coach has more name recognition and sucks up to you-know-who, so that was that.

Someone had a great home-made campaign poster in my town for Doug...

I still think it was very hard for a lot of Crimson Tide fans to fill in that circle for Tuberville. "Trump or the Tide??"

So, Joe was just biden his time....
He's gonna be biden a little longer...PA is now 4% difference at 86% complete according to NYT. Notably, that's a 1.1% drop within two hours of counting and within 2% total count.

So Trump is just regurgitating Breitbart articles on his Twitter feed now, probably because no legitimate media outlet is covering the stupid things he's shouting about.

Even Mitch "The Moscow Turtle" Mitch called for the votes to be counted. Although, my guess is he doesn't care about Trump anymore since he used him to get a huge advantage in the Supreme Court and thus has fulfilled his purpose.

When you're old & grey & some young whipper snapper comes along & tells you Democrats & Republicans are "all the same", you'll be able to sit them down & tell them the Tale of Donald Trump.

Most likely they won't believe you.

Over the last three hours Trump's lead in Pennsylvania has dropped from 423,160 to 207,365, with 13% still to come in...

Trump has, predictably, filed lawsuits in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia now as well. So this is how Trump's world ends, not with a bang, but with a WI MI PA.
