If the deadline is extended then you probablly can.

Guys don't forget this rule from post 2.

Cool, must finish working on a car for a friend of mine today but when I'm back home again this evening I'll redo my lap an post a proper time as I think I got the car almost setup perfectly now but was just that I was too tired and a little drunk to string a solid lap together last night :P

Should get a 1:32 tonight I reckon :sly:

Out of interest, what sort of power figures are people getting on their cars once fully run in?
I've got ~335 in the RX-7, ~350 in the Gariya (carries a weight restriction however) and about 330 in the Subaru I think.

I could've got a 33 low if i didn't hit a few walls on my 33.7 run but gettin a 32 is really a big step forward for me lol. I reckon my RX-7 still needs alot of time gettin the setup right.

Here is my 33.7 lap but i doubt it will get validated cause i cut the chicane a bit after the tunnel. :( But sign me up anyway if entry is still open Masi. Bump vid to 720p or 1080p.

1:32 laptimes are just insane for a GT300, really surprised to see so many of you are doing them. I've gone from Strittan's SuperGT race at Suzuka, was on pole by over a second, to being almost a second off the pace here. Buh? I could maybe improve my 1:33.1 a bit, but with flu giving me random coughing fits seemingly always into heavy braking points, it's not going well.

I am running 350bhp from running the car in, and oil changes, in my Garaiya, to answer the above.

Edit: Yes! Coughing-free run, 1:32.795 - Really can't be bothered to improve that anymore, just want to make sure I get into Div1.

Does anyone know when the next race will be? Since page 1 still says "delayed until further notice".

i didnt have time to get a better laptime too busy with work, at the end i zoomed in for the time, u can pause it for the actual lap time,

Managed a 27.6xx, i believe there are a couple of tenths more to save though cause i messed up turn 1. Should post lap by tonight.

when we will race ? is this event ever going to setle up. the delayed until further notice reminds me the time before gt5 came out lol. just kidding.:D

Had a freakin awesome race with Sonic earlier on Fuji GT, will upload replay later. Here is the replay, dont mind the first lap as i had to pass annoying randoms.

I have a saved replay of a lap right now in my pc but i don't know how to put it in the PM i'll send to masi, any help?

P.S. My lap is a 27.3xx but i could do a 26 quite easily i think. Yesterday i was running in online mode which was a bit harder because of the tire wear. I'll try a bit more for a 26 but i'll post this replay just to be safe.

I managed to zip the file and attach it here ,can somebody tell me if it works?

Made abit of an improvement last night to my time but still with one or two mistakes.

I will see a 32 or 33 time but just don't think I'll be able to stay consistent enough until I get my wheel up and running.

Alright guys, im back from my mini-hiatus... My computer died and I lost 100GB worth of Data! Season 1-15 of Top Gear and most of my music! :(

Just installed a Fresh CPU, GPU, Motherboard, and Power Supply :) Overhaul...

I will try my best to update everything the next few days. We'll have a timetable on when the race should be held once everything is sorted out.

Thanks for the interest everyone!

I would like to enter as well, getting my qualifying lap right now.
Just a little confused at the beginning it says for qualifying no tuning etc. but people have non standard gear ratios and are breaking in engines and so on though it was supposed to be all stock?

You are allowed to use the already installed parts in order to tune your car butyou can't add any new parts . You are aso allowed to do oil changes.

I managed a 27,04x today,am i the only one still running this event? Where is everyone?

No, I reckon everybody is still playing. Think I've had enough of trying to break into the 32s for the moment and if there is still time towards the end of the week and the race date hasn't been decided I might give it another go.

maybe i wasnt paying attention, but how would the host know if we were using tuned parts during qualifying. i could just push my car enough to be just a little over the time what my opponents have and he wouldnt even notice. not saying im cheating i just want a logic answer

We'd know. You can't do minor upgrades on these as they're so hard tuned already. Anything you did would be immediately obvious to anyone watching your car in the replay.

Okay, i haven't gone through everything yet, but i was thinking of giving the the series an entirely different approach after Cote d' Azur (Monaco) - or do it now, whatever everyone feels. How about changing it to a touring car series using RM cars? I say this because its going to be hard to police the GT300 cars since HP limits can only be applied to the GT500 cars.

Cars we will be using are the "RM" (Race Modified) cars in the premium dealerships. We will choose ten out of the 17 available. One specific car per week so its much easier to police (or possible combos of two cars like the evo and sti). You can change the numbers and colors of RM cars so that's good for diversity's sake.

RM + Slower Speeds = Closer bumper to bumper racing, More excitement, More accessible to beginners

We can do this after this week ...OR... scrap everything now and start over.

I will put up a poll on the next thread.

Oh man this is not a bad idea at all but I put so much time into the GT300's with learning how to drive them and spend like over 1.500.000 cause i wanted to try the GT500 cars aswell. Good idea but feels like all effort has been for nothing.

That's why its only a proposal. Although i can compensate by sending out free cars to anyone whose been in the same situation as you.

Also, i've been burdened with tons of stuff go through after my PC crashed, so i feel like a fresh start would help greatly...
