Sup guys, looks like i missed a lot overnight :)

Was pretty busy last night so i wasn't able to check the forums as much.

Announcement: There has not been much turnout in terms of quali submissions. I am considering to cancel it all together for this week and have it as first come first serve come Wednesday, but please, if you driver a GT300 car, stick to it! If there's only 1 GT300 car, then good for you! Free Ferrari F10!

Also having some trouble with the replays some are sending. Hopefully ill have time to try and sort it out later today. If anyone can help, then please do so by checking each others replays :)

Merry Christmas :D

Chassis Rigidity improvement is allowed right?

My Cusco already has it and want to try it out and compare with the RE and Autobacs cars but don't want to be trying to find another Cusco in the dealerships

I'd check with Masi, but I imagine the answer would be no. That's a performance enhancing modification.

I dont think rigidity restoration has much of an effect with cars that have low mileage so i would say its fine :)

It's up to you if you want to spend 475K in credits.

But Rigidity Improvement? The one in the body/chassis tuning menu, costs 20,000cr, stiffens the chassis and improves handling.

Well I just sent my lap in, though I'm not sure if I'll even qualify now.

I'm intrigued to see if there's any over (or under) powered cars, I mean in general lap time sense not in actual output, I get the feeling that I have put myself at a disadvantage with my car choice not that it would make up the difference with the really quick guys though 👍. On that note, can car used be included in the qualifying leaderboard?

I'm in. Ill send you a replay through PM tonight or tomorrow.

I also think this is very interesting and done some testing with the GTR/Z/NSX.

Top speed is easiest to measure driving down the Le Mans straight (no chicanes) with the same aero/gearing. The NSX is the fastest at 306km/h and the Z/GTR about the same (Z at 301km/h, GTR at 300km/h).

Acceleration is harder to measure. The Z seems to accelerate best at low speeds, the NSX better at higher speeds, and the GTR seems a bit slower than the two.

Handling/Grip is of course down to how good the tune/driver is. For me, the GTR handles the best. I can also tune the Z to handle almost as good as the GTR, but I haven't cracked how to tune the NSX.

Looking for online fun I, there are some Japaneze good GT500 drivers often with 10+ cars racing. Last time at Suzuka I used my GTR and I was pretty even with their top 2 guys, both using the NSX. We did best lap in the 1'54's on soft (I'm sure the new alien drivers to this championship are quicker). I (the GTR) was quicker in the first sector with all the corners but lost equally much in sector two to the NSX'es with the two long straights.

So far I don't think there is any sign of which car is the best, and it will be fun to see when racing starts if there is a trend. Maybe the different cars will have an edge on different tracks.

Sorry mate I believe you lost time but the lap is invalid.

Many of you are forgetting the Lexus.

Didn't have time to improve it, so this is my official qualifying time.

i saw your replay m8. fast lap 👍

Thanks mate.

Since you saw the replay could you declare it clean so Masi doesn't have to bother with it.

I would but I'm having problems uploading it to from USB to PS3 system.

It's strange becouse on the computer the replay is in the PS3 file but when I try to copy from USB to PS3 the file is gone.

It does generally seem that way, but I seem to hear everyone else pushing considerably more horses, in the 500+ range whereas I'm just shy. I'm finding the NSX is better in the technical tight sections (MR layout) but on the higher speed corners seems a little slower, outright straight line speed does seem quite similar though.

How much time from now do i have to upload the replay. I'm a bit stressed to check the difference between the time here in Copenhagen and the uploading deadline time :) hope it isn't to late !

Edit: I've found out now, I got lots of time to chase my fastest lap.

And Masi, you gotta change me to DS3 from G25 - I didn't get a stand in christmas present :(
