Not So New - TT & DT No. 30

did anyone try running the kart space TT with an electric car? (i-MiEV or a Leaf), they should fare well there with the low speed...
 
Anyone got any tunes yet? For the Mitsu. & Lotus ... :D

My goal for these two TT's is to keep in the top 250! 👍

This Mitsu tune got me a time of 1:06.94?.
Aero: max
Tranny: 1: 2.573. 2: 1.798. 3: 1.342. 4: 1.070. 5: 0.891. 6: 0.784. F: 5.120

LSD: 10/10. 30/30. 20/20
TSCD: 40/60
RH: -40/-40

It's not great but its a start.

Edit 2: an AE86 untuned was sitting in my garage at 350pp so I thought "why not?". Got gold on my first (clean) lap.

I usually don't do well in these short tracks. Cape ring and Eiger: long track are more my style. I hope this keeps up.

I had RH at -40/-50 and the rest of you tune ecxept tranny wich I just sat on 194 km/h and did a 1:06,7 on my second lap. 2 sec faster than in the Citroen with my tune.

Was trying to beat the #1 time on the Eiger TT. Either I would get ahead and screw it up on the last corner, or have a bad first sector and then catch up during the rest of the lap. Can't piece both good parts together. So settled for 2nd, until some Japanese guy yanked 6 tenths out of somewhere, leaving quite a gap between himself and the now 2nd place guy, and me sitting in 3rd.

No doubt I'll look back later in the week and see I'm down to 500 odd.
 
Can anybody verify if the g27 clutch still works in the tt's? Mine magically started working on the last tt when all tt's that I've done before had the clutch locked out so I had to use paddle shifter or clutchless shifting with the stick.

I Never had a chance to try much on the last one but I am WAY FASTER coming into the corners using heel and toe downshifting with the clutch. It gives a more realistic engine brake effect and even over revs if you downshift too soon. I hope the clutch stays around.
 
Usual cars at the top then. Ho hum.

Used the CZ3 for Eiger and Midget in Kart Space (remove turbo plus ballast). Both easy golds.

Won't be heading for the dizzy heights of the leader board so might try a few Kei cars for some fun on the Kart track.

Yeah the Guy in 2nd is using the stick and handbrake in some of the downhills, I can't use the handbrake effectively with the wheel 👎

The new 1st place guy is using active steering to make the drive just that touch easier again :dopey: I reckon with some work I can nail another .3 on my lap as i messed up the last turn badly on my best lap on the leaderboard but I wont be turning on the AS as it takes the realism out of this wicked combo! so 1st place was but a flash in the pan for me :lol:

40.3 on kart space, I had a couple of 39.9s but invalid, you cant even put half a wheel on a curb without getting a red timer. If F1 had a similar way of doing things every driver would be disqualified from every race. :)

First time I do an Seasonal Time trial..

Cool to drive my Impreza WRC on Eiger.. - who of you guys uses the handbrake in the slow corners ..?

Will try the 106 rallye on the kartspace tonight.. :-)
 
Seriously, when I get the gold medal in the Rally drift trial, the server goes to maintenance.
FML, for real.
 
Just managed to sneak in before the maintenance shutdown and gold the tt's. Nothing special and forgot to remove aids (d'oh). I used handbrake in the hairpin snake aswell ;-)

Same thing happened to me:grumpy:. Hopefully the scores you and I got should still count when the servers come back on. If not it's no big deal, I got gold just after the servers went down but I know I could do the same score again or better.
 
Trying to convince a friend to buy Spa, can the kart space seasonal be driven by people that do not have the dlc?
It might help pursuade him.
 
Has anyone tried the junior kart with ballast on the kart space TT?

Without being around to try it, I'm going to say that any karts cannot be entered, as they come equiped with sports soft tires. You can't change the tire on the karts and the seasonal event is restricted to comfort softs.

Ah thx for that, I was gonna try 100cc kart but I couldn't get the PP low enough.
 
I wonder how the top guys "tune" the Elise 111R. Do they add weight? Do they reduce power? Or both?

I tried it with decreasing the power, but then you go down to something like 60% AFAIR.

So to be honest, I don't like this event too much. 👎

The other one is incredible. I like Rally Cars in general. I am also a Lancer fan :) (I am driving my 3rd one in real life since year 2000) And the Eiger Nordwand Short is one of my favourite tracks in the game. So great fun here 👍

200kg to the back and reduce the power, mine only has 99HP with stock suspension and LSD and I was in #12 before the maintence
 
The Eiger race was fun, did it in the Citroën C4 WRC '08 prize car you get from the Loeb rally challenge. Had to add a low RPM turbo and then power limiter to hit 345 HP and maxed out the downforce but otherwise kept it stock and got gold on the first try. It's a nice little car. 👍
 
I liked these events. The Drift ones gave me more trouble that normal for some odd reason, but I golded them eventually.

Used my stock Sunburst NA Miata for the KS1 Trial. Was a hoot and easy to gold. 👍
