PP is useless anyway. According to that, the Impreza is better than the RX-7. :S

Well it wouldn't be useless if we had weight ballast e.g. for the top 3 finishers on the week after, and used it as away to reduce the PP of your car.

We talked about weight ballast and it might be something that's implemented in the next season, they just wanted to keep things the same throughout the 1st season.

If you started your be in division 2 as you didnt qualify etc etc etc

what class gt500 or gt300 will you be joining plus what car would you use?

21 gmt the lobby opens and race start is 22 gmt with the endurance races its an hour earlier

Honestly if you do GT500 it could use another NSX.

GT300 seems to be tight up front as well.

Either class will bring excitement and enjoyment.

NOTE: i'd like to put in a request to people who are in D2 for this evening's race:

to try and minimise any lag issues (e.g. Senninha2 is having problems joining a random online room i'm in atm - he joins and then leaves immediately afterwards), could everyone please clear their cache and reset their consoles before joining the room...it might also be a good idea to reset your routers while your ps3 is off too.

i'll also disable the chat function in the room because, from my experience, mic chat can slow down the gameplay too

i know it's a headache and a bit of extra work, but hopefully it will mean we have a smooth race, which is what we all want i think.

i'll post this up along with the room number (when it's open), just for a reminder.

Basically, reseting the PS3 clears its cache. So basically reset your ps3 right before you plan on entering the race. I've heard it does help minimize dc issues

Just a few pointers to the new comers

1. gt300 cars go round a lap 1st before the parade lap - this is so they are able to finish the race without the timer running out

2. pole man will be on the right hand side of the track (inside line to the 1st corner). The rest line up behind in double file

if everybody agrees i cant see why not

OH ALSO the stupid car bug. make sure that you can see everyone before race and if it changes when race starts (e.g. 10 races before race, race starts you only see 6) that means youve got the ghost car bug... please leave, depending on what time everyone might restart race for you, however you must leave room, clear cache (gt5) and re enter room.

provided things go smoothly and, as paginas said, we all agree - i guess we can start early, sure

as for clearing the cache - you can go to 'options', down to 'network', then 'clear cache'... if resetting the ps3 does the same thing though, just do that instead.

right i think senninha is having major problems with his internet, i just tried to connect to his lobby and it failed.....

i hvnt heard from doc either

so what i was thinking if this is the case to move the 3 gt300s up to div 1 which we will have 7 gt500s and 9 gt300s in Div 1. Div 2 will just have the 6 gt500s racing?

only prob is that div 2 is full of new people apart from josh whos done the last race.

its just an idea so dont shout at me lol

the other idea is to just move 1 gt300 up (the normal way)
so it will be 7 gt500 7 gt300 = Div1. 6 GT500 2 GT300 (without doc)
