It was good racing today! I haven't looked up the GT300 series, is there a reason why these cars aren't faster? I'm assuming it's more like a minor league of racing? Although great throttle control is needed...

Tim

Yes. In Super GT they run GT500 cars and GT300 altogether in the same race.

GT500 - 500hp
GT300 - 300hp

My file wont get below 1 mb.. It's 1214 kb for some reason.. Any ideas?

Did you select "Save Ghost Replay" or "Save Replay" while you were in practice mode?

It is only my fastest lap on the replay.. It starts right before turn 1 and fades when I cross the finishline.. But i did manage to attach a file in a privious post, but did not get confirmation it's ok.. So i guessed that it's not viewable. So I decided to try again, and then this problem came up.. And now when I use winRar i can't get it below 1mb..

This is where I posted the first time.. That file is 250 kb, but as I said, no confirmation it works..

Official lap for user: denilson

EDIT: Ok, the attached file wont show.. The original post is on bottom of page 8 if someone would like to rewiev and varify.

The problem is that it does'nt get comp'ed. It shows as 1,2 mb on my folder.. And the size after comp'ed. is he same.. Does'nt matter if I use winRar or my Zipgenius..

What's the name of the folder?

...ill check all the replays if i could but my damn Flash Drive decided to take a vacation. I need a new one.

Lots of room for improvement. I think i can get at least 1 more second.
Never got the chance to fine tune the setup and car's not fully broken in :)

Guess you forgot to add the replay :)

We had some fun racing on hard tires in the practice room yesterday. For Monaco we should of course stay with soft tires as that what we all prepared for.

For the future we should consider a less grippy tire. I think soft tires has too much grip for a 500hp car. You can almost just slam the throttle exiting the corner and the car will rocket out. On hard tires, its complete different game. You have to drive careful and there are more opportunities for clean overtaking as there are more mistakes to take advantage of (or lose).

Also (probably) the set-up of the car becomes more important and play a bigger part racing on hard tires.

All in all, I think hard tires moves the game to a different level. Much more fun. Once getting the taste of its hard to go back. The only negtive is that the distance to the unreal fast guys (Tony, Nissman, etc) will be even bigger, but thats another challange.

Yes, hard tires are more fun as evident with the last 2 days. Will be restricted in the future.

Also, for next week, im thinking of doing a rolling start rather than standing. Similar to Super GT itself. Both classes will start in their own respective pack. P1 for each class will serve as pace car. When he touches the start finish line, its green flag for everyone. No passing before start finish line or you will be penalized.

Gosh I is slow... Can I haz sum NOS plz? :P

Anyway, Monaco is not one of my strongest tracks and I only spent about 40 minutes tweaking and setting a time... Hopefully my pace is a little higher on race day! 👍

A rolling start is a must IMO.

I did it with some japanese friends, it's really fun and quite easy to organize actually.

Good thing div 1 is full and Masi good choice of car:tup:. i see that gt500 have a variety of cars now. a bit strange there isnt a subaru in gt300 div 1. hopefully we can have a team constructor ranking as well Massi now:)

Great, seems I have found some serious racing for Gran Turismo !

Wonder what I need to do to sign up, out of the initial post I guess just post a replay file for qualifying ?
ABS disallowed as well btw ?

And seeing this replay of you going round Monaco makes me wonder if cutting the chicane here, or any for that matter, after the tunnel is allowed in this series ?
