New TT 33 & DT 33

DT @ Tsukuba is great! I'm currently #213, but at least iv'e learn to drift with CS at rear!:sly:

Sadly, i got a feeling that my 1Series tii will be maxed out at around 23-24K.:(

I loved the Deep Forest TT. R8 for an easy gold but I will probably try to climb from my usual 3xxx something in the charts. Track from older Gt's are printed in my brain, I even dream about them sometimes.
Golded the London TT with my trusted 111R, then took my recently bought GSX for a ride.
Must have the wrong setup or need time to get used to the car, but I am a second slower than with the Elise...

I wonder if anyone has figured out why the 4.2 is > than the 5.2, for this event. I mean in real life, 99% of the people that can afford the 4.2, can afford the 5.2, so everyone just buys the V10, I wonder if its a weight distribution thing?

Well after about an hour of fiddling with the kart, I managed a 419 on the leaderboards. I'm okay with that  That 1st place lap is just unreal. It's so hard not to slide the kart on 2nd turn after the long sweeping right hander

What a stupid setups are being first, thats so unrealistic. Front end raised to max lol...

One lap a piece

Used the 4.2 R8 as it was the first german car in my garage...

The London race I used a RGT - In Fuschia - Easy gold after one lap. But the car felt pretty good considering all I did was bolt on Comfort tyres and turned off the Driver aids and tweaked the Brake Bias to 3/2.

Yeah car felt really nice.

So took it to a rewarding 500pp event at the German themed CROUT (Cape ring periphery) - It was so good I hit 20,000,000 and still ran another race.

Wonder why it is so very easy to get gold in these.

Really need to spend more time picking a plain car rather than the first car in my garage.

1:17.294 my first TOP 10 on Deep Forest.

I am happy to share my joy.

It's a dream for me to finish TT at top 10.

The sheep of Eiger.

The time trials are a good way to learn the fastest way around the various tracks, and a fun way to compete against your friends (without them "being in the way", lol). I never used to run them, but decided to about 6 mos. ago. My technical racing and tuning skills have gotten much better as a result. ran a 1:21.593 in the SLS AMG '10. now need to run an R8 4.2 as a friend just beat me with it. Tally ho!

I got my kart around there with a 57.919" but seem to lack 3 mph off leaders speed down first straight (even on 2nd lap) no matter what I do.

think that the trial is meant for play station Member accepted.
can not buy a kart that is not accepted in the play station
go go go japan!

go to the tuning garage in the main menu,
purchase comfort softs, then enter the seasonal tt.
u should be ok to enter.
I need lots of practice to come close to a 56s and the speeds of the top 10.
steering is very sensitive(ive had to go from 7 to 0 on sensitivity).
still cant get it round on a clean lap and my gtr v spec(stock) lap is still the quickest i can manage :)57 something :)

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out what numbnuts70 pointed out; you have to go to the main GT Tuning center to get the tires (the blankness at tire selector in the garage tuning center gave me the clue) I was frustrated by it during the last time trial that I saw it used in.

I discovered a long time ago with the 125 SPL that no matter what tire you put on the kart, the handling doesn't change. So you could use comfort hards and go just as fast with racing softs. It's a weird glitch, but I find it pretty hilarious. I know the best I've done with online physics was a 56.0. I can't wait to try out these TTs and attempt to break into the 55's 👍

Edit: 56.481 with the kart at London

Gahhhhh... karts.

Any tips on "tuning" for this thing?

All you can do is change the gearing.
Have the final drive gear set to slowest and adjust the gears so you hit 93/4mph flat out.
hope this helps :)

Now I'm down to a 56.335 with the 10th fastest kart lap. The lap was very sloppy.

Hey guys,

Just registered and this my first post.

Does anyone have a nice setup on the Audi R8 for Deep Forest, that he would like to share?
I am stuck on 1.19.50 and wondering what else I could try to get faster!

Ran the DFR event in the Speedster Turbo - had to wkr to get gold, ton of fun doing it the back end was pretty loose all too easy to lose a load of time with a rear wheel steeping out just because you take a bit too much speed into a corner.

Much fun. Shame you don't get anything once you've passed the gold - Then again you don't get a ticket for satisfaction.

Hmmm...why did I get 1M credits each for the TT's if the payout is only 250k......

The 4.2 seems to have far more grip than the 5.2 even when tuned to a similar PP level. Felt like I was driving on sports softs compared to the 5.2. Don't know if it's the lower weight or better distribution or what, but the 4.2 was pretty much point-and-squirt even with the stock suspension, while the 5.2 was sliding all over the place.

A few fun cars I used for London, Caterham 1'02.xxx, and ruf 3400 59.xxx. Left plenty on both but whatever, I don't want to run the kart(seems silly) or the gsx-r(tired of it's domination)...

Anyway, something different 👍

Hey guys, did anyone else notice that, the 1st japanese driver on the London TT has got Active Steering set to "Strong"? :S

By the way, I've tried the Kart for about 45mins, and I managed to do 57:6xx I think. I can improve it, but It's quite hard to be consistent with the kart on that track and make the lap without touching any wall or even spin out..

I'll try my best on this one, Kart TT means NO Setups, and It's all about the driver :)

Greetz!

No idea how he managed to turn this "on"

There is no option on my options settings when using a kart and I also have my controller buttons mapped out with the RA functions (like a wheel has) and you cannot turn it in from there either. :boggled:
