Is it just me or is everyone losing a lot of time to 1st place in the last sector of London?

Personal Bests

1st sector - 0.024 quicker than 1st and thats with a speed disadvantage over the line
2nd sector - about 0.1 slower than 1st
3rd sector - about 7 tenths slower than 1st

You have to use the 125 kart SPL and then go into the tuning shop before you enter the TT and get them that way.

I'm now currently 57.924 after 10 laps I feel sleepy so will have more of a go tomorrow currently 495th That'll do for me for time being!

actually if you go to the quick tune on the main screen the 125 kart won't let you do it... but if you exit there and into GT Life it apparently will.

Most sorry if I offended for for my misunderstanding. Just learned that the Tuning shop on my home screen was actually a "quick tune"... and the only way I learned was trying to install tires on the kart.

I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but have plenty of experience designing UI / UX to know that I wouldn't be the only person were making the same assumption/mistake.

I used the SL600 and got over 21k with it, both accounts. Sadly, it seems that is the best I can do. I've been working on holding the drift throughout the turn, but have not worked on entry yet. Still, I don't think I'm doing badly for just starting drifting in January. I'm improving with each new drift trial, so that's a good sign.

I'll pm you for your sl600 tune. I think it will be pretty close to mine, since I based it off of your cerbera tune. The sl600 is handling really nice. When I first used it, my tune was junk, so the car handled like junk. Now, I think it is an awesome drifter and may use it in the other DT and see how I do. Cerbera got me to a little over 13k, which I'm fairly happy with.

I sent you a short book, hope it helps. My daughter wanted to try drifting yesterday and I had her at bronze in under an hour. I gave you some REAL tips, but I had her doing all sectors in 3rd gear and starting and stopping within each sector. I just want her to get a feel for the drifting before I start having her do it right. She'll be getting golds by this weekend. 👍

Okay I've read several posts morning and even posted above how about changing tires on the kart...It seemed straight forward and i'm not seeing conflicting posts as to it will or won't or how-to.

Select / activate kart in your garage > Exit to GT Life > Select Tuning Shop > Add tires.

But when I do those steps with the GT 125 SPL it says purchasing tires is not allowed (or similar phrased message) Then asks would I like to continue with purchase anyway. I went ahead and completed purchase-- like i assumed it didn't show up.

I then tried navigating to practice area and going into the pits, but it doesn't allow me to change the tires while in the pits. I'd always tuned my car from the GT Life home screen under Tuning Shop. Someone please help with my ineptitude.

Kinda funny, I finally got the GSXR and we now have both seasonals where the little Suzuki isn't the car to use. If

I was watching the replay of the #1 and found out that he drives the same kind of set up with high front/low back, he also uses 30/70 4WDtq..
I guess from the engine sound, he might be using all the engine upgrades there is to increase the torque, but that has a consequence of hawing to limit the engine power heavily, and that makes this car sound a bit like a NASCAR.
brake balance was 6f/7r

edit: after 3 laps 1.19.0, totally relaxed, I was surprised because i did only beat my ghost from the warm-up lap

I did not expect me to be so fast so quick.

The only difference on my car from this set up was that I'm using the 1264 kg configuration.

I'm down to 1'19.xxx in Deep forest, 2100 in the world which is above my average!!
Not much for some of us but still only second and a half away from top 200. I know I can shave those off. I will keep trying this until my thumb goes numb!!

That's a good time but I think you can go faster because I've done a few 56.2s with a 29 bhp kart and a 2/3 tenth mistake on each lap and after seeing you in a kart before I know you are definitely quicker than me. The TT doesn't seem to be that competitive atm so maybe we can both get in the top 10.

EDIT: Just got a 55.9 and I was 3 tenths down at the end of sector 2, I have been less than a tenth down at that point.

Welcome, I haven't tried this TT yet and none of the GT genius' at the top of the leaderboard have posted their setups. I'd recommend asking if you could use their car or setup at least and watch their ghost laps to see what they are doing.

Took my first laps in the kart, wow there's a big learning curve there. Lots of spins, had a good lap going then the curbs on the last corner got me. Funny how in the dealership it's 503pp but when you buy it it's 499pp.

This one's a challenge, pretty fun. I think my gxr lap is now out of the 250 as more people are switching to the kart and I'm not crazy fast.

Anybody know how long the kart takes to break in? I need some more bhp.

Made the top 5000 in the 125 SPL. That's much higher than my usual. The only other time I remember accomplishing such a thing, was on Eiger, because it was immediately after I'd finally golded the Alpha special event there, so I knew the track very well.

I was able to do a mid 1.19 just tinkering with all the other stuff
